I believe SF is a yankee fan- so, let's talk about choking
Since the All Star break
AL East NL East
Atlanta - 45-22
Mets - 42-26

Toronto- 41-26
Phils- 38-31
Balt - 36-32
TB - 35-34
Yankees- 35-34
What are you talking about.
We won our division.
you choked away a 10.5 game division lead and couldn't close.

I cannot disagree on the Atl series. just needed 1...

But your boys have been sinking faster that any team going into the playoffs. Imagine the greatest team in MLB history on pace to win 120 games, will be lucky to get to 100 today.

Well, this thread has become polluted with the Yankee fan comments .
Kinda interesting at all the references to choking and disappointment. When we all root for the bottom feeders and dregs of BIG football

lol so true

but back to this SF- another look at since all star break- Mets with the 6th best record in MLB and Yankees with the 14th best record...

Met's were over taken by the Braves and in the mean time- if we were in the same division- the 120 win Yankees would have been down to today if we were in their division.

Met's choked but Yankees, kind of just sucked.

I see a certain Amigo in The Dead Zone who has more fights with his own fanbase in their own thread in the history of this site is mocking me having a disagreement with a fellow Mets fan. One Mets fan. Clueless

I don't think the Yankees and the Mets played the same schedule. Perhaps the Mets wouldn't have fared as well if they had faced the Rays and the Jays more often and the Marlins and Nationals less often.

Maybe better,I could say the Yankees might have done worse if they faced the Braves and Phillies more. If my aunt had balls- - -

Naquin's Met slash line is .210/.254/.403, OPS of .659 and OPS+ of 86. Obviously below MLB average. But not awful, at least not James McCann awful.
McCann set for release? He’s missing strikes by a foot

Huh ? Don't Philly and Atlanta roughly approximate the Rays and the Jays ?
Now check out the records of the Bosux and the Orioles vs. the records of the Nationals and the Marlins. Which group would you rather play 19 times each this season ?
Why is that so hard for you to comprehend ?
BTW, MLB is changing things starting next season in an attempt to make schedules fairer.

Braves went 73-33 and the Mets went 62-44. Yet you continue to use schedule only against the Mets. It's not anything new with you. Best of luck this post season, not. Enjoy Judge's last AB's in pinstripes

11 game difference tougher to play Philly and Braves.

I'm pretty sure Philly and Atlanta also benefited from playing Miami and Nationals too. You guys aren't very smart.
Yankees strength of schedule updated as of last night's games is 11th toughest. Mets are 22nd toughest.
You could have spent 5 seconds to look it up but besides being stupid you are lazy as well

Just numbers but take from it what you may-

Since AS Break
Met's played 10 series against + 500 teams a total of 32 games- they won 6 of 10 series with a record of 17-15 .531%

Yankees did play a tougher schedule- ummmmm- maybe why they were so good in the first half.
Yanks played 15 series against +500 teams-total of 44 games
They won 5 of 15 series with a record of 18-26 .410 %

You guys will be playing +500 teams from here on out. Not sure if finishing the year at 33% of series won is a good thing.

I would much rather be the team that won 60% of their series

How about you argue the point without the name calling? Bad look on your part.

Why is McCann playing first base? This guy should have played his last game a few days ago.

I spent more than 5 seconds- and yes, you guys had a tougher schedule- but you guys really sucked when you played good teams.
To just say you played a tougher schedule is just lazy- maybe you should have spent 10 seconds to see how that proves anything good for your Yankees.

Met's have no excuse for Cubs/Atl but...no matter how you spell it out- Yankees were less impressive since the AS break in every single way. Except being pretty good against bad teams- 17-8...

There has already enough been enough name calling on here by Mets fans today. Again do research before posting stupid ship

So the guy who's fought with more Yankees fans than anyone in the history of this site comes here to feed on new prey. Honestly,do you have a clue on how long your list is of fellow Yankee fans you've argued with? How about you go back to that thread, the thread you seem to think is your common ground. No one here gives 2 $hits what your opinions are. Go back and grow your list of Yankees fans you've attacked.

Last I looked it was you making a fool of yourself going bonkers on a Mets fan just today so maybe you should worry about your own issues.

I assume you are using hyperbole to make a point. Because you must know that there is no chance that the Mets cut McCann loose NOW.

Off-season? That's another story.

Well he certainly won’t be catching ever again
If you think Nido is catching every game of the postseason (which we all hope is a long one), I think you are mistaken.

And if you think Mets are going to throw Alvarez behind the plate NOW, I also think you are mistaken.

That leaves Door #3.

Was more talking next year. That said Nido will see most of the games in the post season unless Max or Jake want McCant

Are you really denying the long list of Yankees fans you've fought with, really?clueless. Please leave, no one wants you here unless your not welcome there either.

Are you denying you didn't call out a Mets fan today?? Beyond clueless!! You are a complete clown. Who did I argue with in the Yankees thread this year that was an actual Yankees fan??? I certainly didn't fight with a Yankees fan today ass. Something you can't say!
