Dodgers, Padres, Angels out West. Prepare for some late nights again. Then I dont know who once they return home. Maybe the Marlins finally. What i do know for sure is that our NL East pursuers are hoping for a disastrous road trip for us. I on the other hand am looking for no worse that 4-5 out there.
Hoping for 9-7 on the usually rough West Coast trip.

Brutal day on the farm yesterday so no report. Brett Baty also placed on IL but haven't seen a reason why yet.

Lindor on pace for one of his best seasons ever so yes lots and lots of love.

I highlighted our brutal June schedule a week or so ago. Going to be tough so just need to tread water with the lead they've built.

@Dodgers and @Padres, but home for Angels.

Please go back to the minors
What a disgrace

All on Plummer’s joke of a play
Completely changed inning

Costing Bassitt 15-20 pitches

Who saw what in Plummer ??
Hits like Lee fields like Hundley

Smith broken finger
Inning ending grounder to Louie if he doesn’t reach out with bare hand.

This is a really dumb post. Criticizing from one game lol.

A really cool factoid:

Nick Plummer hit a HR for his first major league hit. The last Met to do that was none other than pitching coach Jeremy Hefner. He did it exactly 10 years ago to the day! May 29, 2012.

As Casey used to say, you can look it up.

It's not nothing. It's a really good place to be, it doesn't guarantee anything but they're in good shape so far.
Amazing anyone can say “nothing” 1/4 of the season with an 8.5 lead..,And two top pitchers in the league out plus a 3rd starter and increasing lead, not just hanging on.
let’s try to enjoy what we are watching.
BTW- saw an arrival somewhere talking about how they just keep this up and getting lucky so many times with infield hits, throwing errors etc…
I will say it again- this is the 2015 Royals on offense. Put pressure on the pitcher and defense. They will make more mistakes.
Also- on base and getting hits are a lot more important than launch angle
