Good to see him get going. Given that contract really need Lindor to be an impact player.
Brutal day on the farm yesterday so no report. Brett Baty also placed on IL but haven't seen a reason why yet.
Lindor on pace for one of his best seasons ever so yes lots and lots of love.
I highlighted our brutal June schedule a week or so ago. Going to be tough so just need to tread water with the lead they've built.

Bench Mob.! They held on as long as they reasonably could. Who knows, if not for all the moves the Braves made at the deadline it might have been enough. It was really that and all of those late season games against the 100 win Dodgers and Giants that proved fatal to our season.
When you have an extended west coast trip that 10% of the season is okay at 8 and 8.
Anything above that is a bonus
I’m pretty sure that it’s a 11 game west coast road trip at Dodgers / at Padres and at Angels. Will be a very difficult trip for sure.

These Phillies must be very happy they won't see us for a good while now. Have beaten them down. And in every way imaginable.
10.5 with 4 months to play is nothing .
Mets blew an entire 7 game lead in 14 games in 2007 as we all know.
Obviously , rather be the squad up 10.5
It's not nothing. It's a really good place to be, it doesn't guarantee anything but they're in good shape so far.
Amazing anyone can say “nothing” 1/4 of the season with an 8.5 lead..,And two top pitchers in the league out plus a 3rd starter and increasing lead, not just hanging on.
let’s try to enjoy what we are watching.
BTW- saw an arrival somewhere talking about how they just keep this up and getting lucky so many times with infield hits, throwing errors etc…
I will say it again- this is the 2015 Royals on offense. Put pressure on the pitcher and defense. They will make more mistakes.
Also- on base and getting hits are a lot more important than launch angle
