It makes it easier when you just look at them as a court jester.Do do it as often as I can but there are some things I cannot overlook and then that's it with me following that personality/sport/team/singer.
Well, I disagree with Howard Cosell about the "jockocracy" he used to rail against.Agree. Schiano, Bruce, Saban,Torre, Pikiell, Pat Riley,Coach K, anyone and everyone. All that matters is the game or concert itself. I don’t care one bit about their jaded opinions or statements about anything, not even about their teams.
A good color guy really adds to it IMO.
My favorite Rutgers booth was Tom McCarthy, Ray Lucas and Tim Pernetti. I felt they both brought a lot to the table.
Feel the same way about the Gary Cohen, Ron Darling and Keith Hernandez set up the Mets have now.
And I am okay if those types drift a little outside of the game on occasion.
Btw, really like what Carl Banks does on the radio for the Giants. But cannot stand Bob Poppa.👎
