Snow showers are possible as far south as the Philly metro and NJ shore north of AC. A dusting is possible along and N/W of I-95 and an inch or 2 is possible in the Poconos.

Why didn’t you?🤔i can only imagine the responses if I had started this thread, lol...will likely be the first flakes this season for some (including me), so I hope it comes to fruition - might even get a little coating on the grass, but likely nobody gets snow on the roads outside of far NW locations.

BUFKIT profiles indicate sufficient saturation of the column for ice
crystal development (dendritic snow) late Wednesday morning and
afternoon as the shortwave associated with the clipper system passes
just north of the forecast area. This supports a period of snow
showers across eastern Pennsylvania and northern New Jersey during
the Wednesday morning through early afternoon time frame, possibly
reaching as far south as the Philly metro and upper New Jersey shore
(north of Atlantic City) during the afternoon hours. For this
update, I favored the NAM for QPF and PoP timing given that it seems
to be handling the scope and coverage of the event as I would expect
it to play out.
Given the later trend in timing, some of the precip, if it falls,
may actually just be rain (or a rain/snow mix) south and east of I-
95 given that temperatures will have warmed into the upper 30s by
the afternoon hours. A brief coating of snow may be possible in the
typical higher elevation areas with a dusting possible down to
around I-95, but impacts will remain limited. Skies will clear
slowly into the evening and temperatures will peak in the upper 30s
to low 40s dependent on cloud and precip coverage and intensity.
High pressure will begin to build in from the Ohio Valley toward the
evening.

It’s not like you have job anymore to go to, Mr. Retired.
You’re my Scarlet Lloyd Lindsay Young.
How many besides you and @RU848789 will get that?Hellooooooooooooooooooo Spring Lake Heights!
SCIENCE!!!!
Okay...one guy is older than I thought. LOLSCIENCE!!!!
I read that in Jerry’s voice. LOLWhat's the deal with snow showers? If it's snowing then it can't be showering. And if it showering it can't be snowing.
Also... what's the deal with airline food?

Well I don’t anyone ever really “liked” his act, it was just his thing we dealt with while getting the forecast.Well, I am putting in 20-25 hours a week, consulting for my old dept. Life's so hard now, lol. Will be happy to see some flakes and maybe a coating, but not convinced we'll get even that.
Sorry, never was a Lloyd fan, maybe because I grew up in the Philly area and was such a huge fan of Jim O'Brien (the beloved TV met who died in a tragic parachuting accident), so when I came to RU in 1980 and saw Lloyd, I just didn't like his schtick.
I'm starting to question your judgment now - or at least your eyesight, lol...Well I don’t anyone ever really “liked” his act, it was just his thing we dealt with while getting the forecast.
Now Sara Lee Kessler on the other hand...😎
Wut? Double foul here. First, his act was weather gold. Second, Sara Lee Kessler--I'd take Lloyd on a date before her, strictly platonic, of course.Well I don’t anyone ever really “liked” his act, it was just his thing we dealt with while getting the forecast.

Yep, looks like some flurries/snow showers will make it to the 95 corridor shortly. Maybe a dusting if we're lucky, but accumulations will be tough with temps above freezing. Areas well NW reporting light accumulations of 1/2-1".Stray flurries in Belle Mead...34 degrees
let the winter season begin
You plowing? Anyone getting plowed at the Hillsborough Deli?Stray flurries in Belle Mead...34 degrees

Nope.Down the shore, everything is all right. Not a single flake (snow). @knightfan7 and @e5fdny - nothing?
Lloyd did a telecast from the Harrison Weather Bureau on July 7,1984.I was living next door at the time.I gave him a "Helloooo,Lloyd."
