Who saved a lot of asses yesterday during and after the biblical rains we got hit with. Tried to get from Princeton to Monroe , a typical 20 minute trip, which took 90 minutes yesterday afternoon . I was diverted from gully washers 10 times because these guys and gals were out there preventing us from ending up under water on a bunch of country roads that could not handle the ridiculous amount of liquid that fell on us. Thanks from a few thousand of us..

I was on Fresh Ponds road near Miltown Saturday afternoon and it had some puddling but was otherwise okay.. not a half hour later on the way back it was blocked off. Not sure why. I wonder how many roads were blocked off from fear of dangerous flooding where there really was no problem.

Oh belive me there were plenty of problems. There is always one joker in a mini Cooper or Fiat who think they can get through but ends up in a brook that has become a lake.
