PC satellite camp in our backyard

Did I say I expect Rutgers to beat Michigan anytime soon? Did anyone here say that? I think most of us are adults and know what kind of talent gap there is currently between these two teams right now.

There was also a talent gap in 2014 when we knocked off Michigan. In 2015 there was a talent AND coaching gap between RU and Michigan State and even with a sorry-ass staff and team that finished 4-8 we almost pulled off the upset. It's college football and we've seen what can happen any given Saturday, particularly in a home night game. Not saying we will beat UM this year but it's silly to think it's not within the realm of possibility. Ohio State? Now that's a different story. They are at another level than Michigan at the moment. And until Michigan beats MSU on the field, can't discount them as the best team in the state of MI either as they've pretty much owned the Wolverines the past 8 years.

I agree, Harbaugh would not be holding these camps in NJ if Flood were still the coach. He wouldn't need to.

I don't have a problem with Michigan holding a camp. I DO have a problem with PC developing this sudden partnership, foresaking RU. I know they don't think highly of RU, that's okay, I don't think highly of their desire to put PC football at the forefront of their image instead of the school as a learning institution.

To me, you have a responsibility to EVERY student that walks through your doors, not just the football players.

I this more about Paramus Cathlolic trying to get good football players to enroll. With 6-10 good football private schools trying to get players this gives their kids a chance to be seen by div 1 coaches to earn scholarships. Monmouth makes sense for kids who are not high FBS talent but may want to play in college.

We were invited as well. We just haven't rsvp'd yet. You guys need to relax with the anti RU paranoia

...not just invited- the PC principal said there would be NO camp if Rutgers wasn't invited.

Pull up a truck outside the school when that minicamp happens.....with a banner reading: "Rutgers football - We're looking for leaders, not followers. New Jersey players will win big in New Jersey. #AshEra"

Probably some big headlines if you do this.

This. And staff it with some of Tony Soprano's guys. Baseball bats too.

But anyone with half a brain (don't mean you) would know there's no way RU could or would accept an invitation to play second fiddle to Michigan at a camp in NJ.

...the PC principal was/is also smart enough not to alienate a good portion of his alumni base and likely his students' families (I bet you dollars to doughnuts that Rutgers has educated a lot more PC grads than Michigan).

But Joe, don't you think by having the Michigan camp he's already done that?

Whatever. Let them have their camp. We will have our's in other regions.

Ways of the world in college football today. Now if our coaches go, that is small time. They won't. Do what they are doing, don't even acknowledge it.

Funny to see Monmouth and those other schools. Sounds about right.

These camps will damage college football.

Also, these assistant coaches are going to get worked to death. That coach from texas a&m that blew his lid is just the beginning

Im sorry but something about this guy gives me a reason to think Sandusky..Sleepovers...?

That may say more about you than Harbaugh.

Hand out some greetings flyer's with some inspirational Chris Partridge quotes:

"I take a lot of pride in New Jersey and New Jersey football. I love all these kids from all these programs. I think it's a hard-nosed type of kid that you have. So I honestly believe the sky is the limit if New Jersey kids stay home. That's a true belief for me.

I think it's important. It just seems like Ohio kids want to go to Ohio State. Alabama kids want to go to Alabama. Every state should have that pride and that's what's awesome about college football, how its sectioned out. You've got your national teams that will recruit nationally. But with the core base, you are going to war with your brothers from where you are born. I think that says a lot."

Paramus Catholic and Michigan can fly a kite. I'd rather recruit from the JuCo across the street.
Pepper is happy to know you feel that way. Michigan fans are ecstatic. "Send us your poor, weary,---------------------------.. Sending a statue of a lady holding up a torch isn't necessary. Seriously, this anti-Michigan attitude of the RU fans is something I can't understand. We've done nothing to single out RU, we have a very pop coach that Michigan fans admire and many RU fans show a unreasonable hatred for. We are not the poster child of the Big 10 but, of the 3 additions, PSU, Neb and RU, only Ne shows the desire to take out any frustrations on the field, court, etc., not slandering the institution or its popular head football coach that 95% of the colleges in the country wishes was their man.

Go away.

HAH, the way you seek to hide from fact reminds me of these clowns.....

Some of you are being as pathetic as PSU fans were when joining the conference. They too thought they could/should be the FB royalty in conference. They aren't, and you wont be. Less than a decade ago you all were worried you may be left out, and rather than being happy with a home, you somehow think you magically get to decide who gets to recruit what players.

Not happening.

I feel sorry for the fans that are not suffering from delusions of grandeur. We just dealt with it in the form of those that thought Brady Hoke or RR should be kept on the job. I feel your pain. Good luck this season. I hope it is an injury free game for both teams.

Nobody on this board cares about anything you have to say about anything, least of all your wish for an "injury free game" or any other saccharine platitudes you pulled out of the greeting card bin in an attempt to mask your obvious sh**-stirring. There literally is nothing some fanboi troll like you could say that would influence my thinking in the slightest. By the way, I would think a Michigan man would know the difference between indicative and subjunctive verbs. Apparently not. Now go away.

The camp is in NJ but you do not have it on your own campus. Pretty weak or did urban tell his little bro what to do

I never thought Michigan fans would be so near to illiterate. I guess the ones who come here aren't grads, just inbred Yoopers. Hey redlight, next time don't hit the Party Store before you post.
