Did I say I expect Rutgers to beat Michigan anytime soon? Did anyone here say that? I think most of us are adults and know what kind of talent gap there is currently between these two teams right now.
There was also a talent gap in 2014 when we knocked off Michigan. In 2015 there was a talent AND coaching gap between RU and Michigan State and even with a sorry-ass staff and team that finished 4-8 we almost pulled off the upset. It's college football and we've seen what can happen any given Saturday, particularly in a home night game. Not saying we will beat UM this year but it's silly to think it's not within the realm of possibility. Ohio State? Now that's a different story. They are at another level than Michigan at the moment. And until Michigan beats MSU on the field, can't discount them as the best team in the state of MI either as they've pretty much owned the Wolverines the past 8 years.
I agree, Harbaugh would not be holding these camps in NJ if Flood were still the coach. He wouldn't need to.
