Just leave the guy alone. Isn't an eternity rotting in hell enough of a punishment?
Oh yes I would
Pretty sick they talk about his job. all the more reason to promote and wear this

That image makes the saying seem racist. The whole point of the saying, as old as it is, and dating from a time and place with no black people to speak of, is that the pot and kettle were both black with soot.
The only thing I agree with would be your shirt doesn't implicate current players, students or alumni.
The shirt does state a FACT of truth...however, you are a guest in their stadium, IMO you should act accordingly and not intentionally antagonize...there's to many innocent people, women and children present.
That "poor guy" is Bernie McCue who claims in this article that he knew Sandusky was a child molester since 1972 yet remained quiet. If he is so repulsed by Joe doing nothing why didn't he go to police in 1972?Agree with Zap... and you guys thinking about those shorts should consider this poor guy.. a PSU prof who wore a PSU cap and stood at the Paterno statue quietly protesting.

Seems like Penn St knew as well, because recent unsealed court documents allegeThat "poor guy" is Bernie McCue who claims in this article that he knew Sandusky was a child molester since 1972 yet remained quiet. If he is so repulsed by Joe doing nothing why didn't he go to police in 1972?

Did you even read the article? Either you just skimmed it or have terrible reading comprehension. Victim A believed state police were aware of it during the 2011 investigation. Bernie McCue claims he heard the story in 1972 when he was 45 years old. So you have a gap of 39 years Bernie after the kid told him when he could have gone to police with Information on Sandusky being a child molester.Interesting... I take it you watched how the Penn State fans treated him for standing there with a sign. And what do you mean by "remained silent"? I read that link you gave.. Victim A told McCue and Victim A believed the state police were aware.. the STATE POLICE.. exactly what was McCue supposed to do? Victim A did not remain silent... he did not need McCue to speak for him.
But when the Freeh report comes out.. confirming what McCue had heard from Victim A.. McCue went to protest... did not remain silent.. and now you chastise him for it? How very "cult" of you.
And why do you exhibit this outrage over Mr. McCue while you have no outrage over Mr. Paterno?

The university settled quickly with little vetting of claims. They did the right thing by settling with the victims quickly even if it meant that perhaps someone who shouldn't have recieved money. I would rather that happen then have the real victims linger for years trying to settle claims. Business often will just settle because it cheaper and avoids negative press. It doesn't necessarily mean the claim is true. Have we have seen with other situations were there is offers of monetary compensation people are willing to lie to cash in. People have lied to get money for things like 9/11 or the Boston Marathon bombing. Penn State basically said they were willing to settle quicky to make this go away. It not a huge stretch that a person would be willing to lie to cash in.Seems like Penn St knew as well, because recent unsealed court documents allege
that Paterno was told about Sandusky in 1976 .
CNN has revealed evidence that Paterno may have known about Sandusky’s crimes and failed to act even earlier than that. A man who was offered a settlement by Penn State after it acknowledged him to be a victim of Sandusky told CNN that he was raped by Sandusky in 1971, then spoke with Joe Paterno and another university official about it, and was threatened with police action if he continued to talk about the incident.
Don't try to make us believe Joe didn't know by knocking Bernie McCue, Joe knew and Penn St knew .

The guy could have protested and not tried to interfere with people trying to take picture. He was just trying to instigate the people. What either story fails to mention is he has a history of harassment and has been arrested for it several times. The fans could have handled it better but he was looking for trouble.
So you've been a ball buster for a long time, not just to Mets fans, lol. They tried that with me back when the Rashard Casey stuff was going on and they didn't like what I posted there They claimed they tracked me to my job and had a contact there. Never had a chance of affecting me . Too funny.
I stopped posting on other boards long ago, but it always seemed like the Pedd St. board was in a class by itself for dickishness. And stupidity.

I don't know why I'm just thinking of this now, but isn't it a little weird that they put up a statue of their coach while he was still the coach? Think about it. And then what's interesting is if they waited until he retired/died to put one up, they wouldn't have done it anyway because of how he went out. So to those asking to put the statue back, I ask - if there never was a statue, would you be fighting hard now to have one made and put next to the stadium today?
