Play McConnell & Baker, Kiss, Omuryi / A Big

McConnell seems more composed than Geo (needs to play the 2 / hit a few shots).

Play McConnell over Baker if Thiam, Mathis, or someone can make a shot!!

WTF kind of officiating let at least two Goal Tending (Blocks BY SHU on EO) and a blatant SHU palming (toward end of the half)= No Call.

Also a lot of action under the rim...with no calls against SHU...

McConnell has shown he isn't afraid of the bright lights and with his height has the ability to drive to the basket and make shots.

Thiam is too streaky and he’s not much of a driver. Mathis should start over him. I like Kiss off the bench

Thiam is clearly not one of our top five - physically weak, can go to the basket, 6'10" and can't rebound & an OK 3 pt. shooter. His length on the perimeter is not enough reason to justify the minutes he gets IMO. He can't be playing ahead of Kiss who is simply a better player and a tougher kid. Harper's 3's will ultimately fall. He was an outstanding three point shooter in high school and it's the same distance now. He is also a better all around player than Thiam - not even debatable in my mind.

I don't see any way Mathis should play over Kiss. I don't see him as a better defender (maybe a little on the ball, maybe) and he can't shoot at all, plus he's out of control. To be honest, I'm having a little trouble seeing four stars.

We need to give Doorson less minutes, I know he’s a senior captain but he struggles so much defensively and he’s only going to block the development of other better players. I don’t mean to be knocking doorson but there’s no reason to play him 25 min a night

Doorson has been our best big and what big has played better than him defensively?

That kid Mamu was the silent killer today and Eugene kept giving him the three and he kept making us pay.

Nope. Maybe next year but not now. And Doorson is OK defensively down on the block, but he's brutal when he has to step outside

Need a big man that can do something offensively besides treat the ball like a hot potato. Loved Mathis on D today. Thiam brought zero to the game. The team is young but need a big to show some offense.
