Justin Fuente brought two of his Memphis assistants with him to Va Tech and kept several coaches that had been on Beamer's staff. After a successful run at BYU, Bronco Mendenhall took over the UVA program after BYU's bowl game. he kept one former UVA assistant to knows the local landscape. Two coaches with successful head coaching experience. Neither program received a commitment from Rivals' top 15 Virginia High School players.
