Aresco’s euphoria about USF’s scheduling practices cannot be sitting well with White, who believes if the American is going to brand itself as a “Power 6” league, then its teams need to start scheduling like the big boys. And the fact of the matter is, not even the dregs of the Power 5 — programs like Kansas, Rutgers and Wake Forest — normally schedule two-for-ones against marquee opponents.
