That is fine and good motivation and chip on the shoulder stuff for our guys. Respect has been earned nationally as votes went from 10 to 35?

Yes but given the great press we have had recently I couldn't care about recognition in top 20. Win and we are in. Lose out and not.

Michigan State is heading in the wrong direction.Therer are quite a few schools listed that are in consideration for NCAA bids who received less votes than Rutgers but have better NET ranking.

Being ranked last season did us no favors and seemingly precipitated a downward trend from January to mid-February. Seeing as how our team plays better with a chip on their collective shoulder, and that the Selection Committee already knows our record quite well after this past week, I say its for the best.
