Sent back my R Fund mail request for another donation

Cali is a fraud the only thing he is good at is posting several hundred times a day on this site. Everyday 24/7 365!!! You would have to really have nothing else going on to post here and wherever else he posts because he has screwed up showing there are other boards he dedicates his time too. He is an internet loser to the 10th Power.

Your reply to me has nothing to do with what I said. If you want to attack Caliknight, that's your business, but leave me out of it.

You support the school and the program with donations, not the coach.

Still not related, but are you elated the Cal Bears are ranked? They could be even in position to win the Pac12 North.

I am happy for my Golden Bears, even though I am too far away to really follow the team. I believe Cal was ranked eighth in the nation my freshman year in 1968, but the team faded (even though it would have gotten to a bowl game by today's standards). So I am fearful that the success will not last. BTW, despite Cal's reputation for radicalism in the Sixties, Cal's teams were well-supported by the student body.

You probably know that they are on ESPN at 10:30 pm Friday against ASU. One of my partners is a Cal Alum- some time around 2008 (a few years later than you).

I am at the point in life where I simply cannot stay up for a 10:30 game. I used to try to follow Cal basketball and football with the help of their board, but the games got to be too late for me. There is a Cal alumni group here that assembles for games (or at least used to), but I am much older than the vast majority of them.

DVR? or stream the replay the next morning? Wilcox has done a solid job. Only undefeated team left in the PAC12 and nice wins on the road at Washington and Ole Miss.

for The Bells Must Ring campaign with a note on the form saying that I would not donate additional money until Rutgers demonstrated a serious commitment to Rutgers football by replacing Ash.
What charity did you decide to redirect those funds to?

My charitable giving is aligned with my principles. If I was to stop donating to Athletics I'll be damned if my discretionary money goes to support the lunatics running the educational side.

For the sake of accuracy the additional loan was not taken to make up a shortfall it was a planned strategy by the AD to take on debt borrowing against future revenue to increase investment into the football program.
I think you might want to reread the article because it clearly states, "Hobbs, who acknowledged that loans from the University to compensate for it's shortfall in it's $80 million athletic budget could become a standard practice over the next four years....".

What's the strategic move here? Owing the University over $5mil in interest on these loans by 2022?
There's nothing strategic about it. The BOG and Barchi said here's your budget, go over it you take out a loan at 5,75% and make the University what it would on outside investments.

Not directed at me, but heck yeah as I follow those Bears! Solid D and enigmatic O, but they are getting the job done. Arizona St. Friday night is critical game. Herm has the Devils going in right direction.

This year I donated to a school of pharmacy scholarship fund which is my alma mater.
