Has listed us in his top 8. Doubt he's coming though. A few close to his recruitment have already stated his mom wants him away from NJ to keep the hanger on types away. Would love to see him here. He is an undersized 4 like Freeman but has that same motor.

Expect a crepe hanger comment or two regarding the difficulties a JUCO can encounter getting admitted to Rutgers.

Very talented player here from Paterson.....has a ton of offers, including Kansas, which rarely dips into the JUCO ranks and JUCO havens Iowa State, UNLV etc....very tough sledding here, but shows that even though ships are limited, there will be room to add players this spring.

Rutgers has had some Paterson players in the past, right? Including one whose Paterson friend Victor Cruz sat in the front row of Section 102 and took a well-earned bow at a Rutgers game shortly after his Super Bowl heroics.
Also, Rutgers football assistant coach Henry Bakers, Jr. is the son of a Paterson Eastside basketball coaching legend.
Maybe Rutgers chances with Shakur Juiston are better than we think.
