Maybe Hobbs should call him too. PAC-12 is a tough hoops conference, but for the Bruins to finish with a losing record with their talent, tradition and facilities is almost unthinkable. I remember all of the complaining about Howland's style of play and how it wasn't suited for the up tempo game Angelenos crave. Losing their tconference tourney game to crosstown rival USC by 20(?) was a fitting end to a real WTF season.
He's protected anyway by a ginormous buyout in his contract. I think it's over 10 million. Plus he has a Top 5 recruiting class coming in.
After 2 consecutive Sweet 16's this season was a nightmare for the Bruins.
