USC at Cal | 11 p.m. | FS1

My biggest interest is in the 2 games at 4PM.
Georgia/Bama
Houston/Cincinnati
Sound like a good sports bar watch. Both games on different TVs. There is bar by me that is walking distance and one of the bartenders is from Alabama. They had a great crowd there last week, both for and against Bama. Today should be a fun day!

Yea I usually post but since there are fewer games this week, wasn't sure if better to post individual threads (which people do any way even when I try to aggregate stuff lol) or one big one. Glad you posted thanks.

Oh yea 4pm is a good slot. Alabama losing could be very key for Cincy getting in, if none of their other competitors lose. Kind of like soccer with them going on simultaneously. But an Ok State loss earlier would take away from that "suspense." Alabama/UGA I think will challenge last weeks Michigan/OSU for highest rated game of the season. Go UGA.

As usual I'll likely be watching all the P5 and AAC champ games anyway but you're right 4pm window is a good one.

Bohanon out for Baylor, freshman Blake Shapen will start again for Baylor.

The one thing I hope is set in stone is if Cincy wins ND is out.

Not so sure. If 2 of Alabama, Ok State, Michigan, Cincy loses they could still get in I think. I've been back and forth on that because of Barda's comments. I thought first this was a path for them even with a Cincy win, then he mentioned Kelly not being there being a factor so then I thought maybe no chance. Then again Freeman being elevated fairly quickly and continuity being maintained and additional Barda comments he doesn't think Kelly will be a factor and maybe then back to that original path being possible.

What happens if OK State, Michigan, Cincinnati, and Alabama all lose bigly?

Georgia solidified at 1 seed
ND pops up to 2 seed
Baylor crashes the party as 3 seed?
Iowa makes the quantum leap to 4 seed???

Unlikely, but you never know.

Chaos lol

Nice play call from Grimes and great job by Shapen. See the things Grimes is doing to help Shapen. Short throws, quickly out of his hand, move the pocket…these kind of things all help the OL.

7-3 Baylor

Or Ohio St gets back in the picture.

If I’m a lower status school like Duke or something I’d look at Jeff Grimes as a coach. I think he may be a good one. I like him he’s my new hot coach lol.

Moved a LB to RB and he leads the B12 in yds/carry….6.3. 90yds/gm to 228yds/gm this year rushing…that’s good coaching.

There is no way in hell that is a forward pass. That should be Okie St. ball.

Nice call by Grimes again sneak turned into toss around the outside for a first down.

Could be a mistake by Shapen finally though. Backwards pass trying to get rid of it could lead to TO. Under review.

See how quick ball is out…lots of pressure but boom ball out by Shapen.

Oh man what a nice TD pass by Shapen. 3 star redshirt freshman and more known as baseball player lol. Nice job.

21-3 Baylor. Wonder if Shapen might not be better than Bohanon with some more experience.

I tend to think it wasn’t either.

Edit it was play stands as called. Baylor survives a close one.
I just don't see how they didn't overturn that. Ball hits at 21 he threw it just before the 21. Even if he threw it at the 21 it's still a lateral. Bad Call. And even worse that they got the TD off the bad call.

I just don't see how they didn't overturn that. Ball hits at 21 he barely threw it before the 21. Bad Call.
I think maybe cause of camera angle, unless you’re head on sometimes can be deceiving so maybe then not enough to overturn.

Another nice call by Grimes on the fake toss. I tell you I like his offense. Misdirection and deception is a staple of it and that can slow down a defense like Ok State

Going to be interesting what Gundy does about Sanders after 3 INTs.

I would’ve punted here. Surprised by Aranda there. Don’t let them get an easier score to close the game to one score.

That was Aranda’s fault. He’s a smart coach. I don’t know what was in his mind to go for it n that 4th down. Closed within a score like I said it might. It’s essentially a TO for Baylor. 21-13 Baylor

Baylor uses I formation, spread formation, under center, shotgun…quite the variety on offense.

Bounces starting to go Okie St's way. Man that 4th down decision might come back to haunt Aranda.

Wish it were so, but it's never simple for a non-Power 5 team other than Notre Dame.
Assuming Cincy wins then who will pass them if any of Ok State, Michigan or Alabama loses. ND isn’t even playing today and they lost to Cincy at home. They aren’t passing them. Cincy just needs to win and then have 1 of 3 teams lose.

Hell yea…that was a big momentum shift. I’m still shocked by that call. I think pretty highly of him and think he’s a smart coach…very surprised that he’d make such a bad decision. Even if you get it, a lot less to gain and a lot more to lose. Risk reward profile isn’t worth it at all.
