I just noticed this heavyweight title fight coming up soon on Showtime

Deontay Wilder (champ) vs Eric Molina

Wilder is 6'7" with about a 30-0 record almost all knockouts ! Not sure about accuracy of this however.

Molina, 6'4 " appears to be about 24-2 w almost all knock outs !

Molina , for 24-2, looks like an overweight stiff. Should be over fast

Molina has something less than an athletes physique...... also a very poor 1st round for a challenger fighting in a hostile environment.

Molina just caught Wilder and rocked him !! lol, i was wrong, this guy is a fighter !

edit -- Down goes Molina ! lol , heck of a fight

4th knockdown too much for Molina. He went down hard. Took a hell of a lot of hard punches and actually landed some. For big flabby guy, he lasted 10 hard rounds. Holyfield at ringside looks like he's in great shape still.

Agree with all your comments Abro ..... I think Wilder has a chance to be a great heavyweight with some more seasoning. He is definitely not there yet however.

I enjoy boxing but without a true heavyweight it's boring. It's hard to get excited about 160 pound grown men

Did you watch the last Canelo fight? Plenty to get excited about there. Cotto-Canelo will be one for the ages in the fall and the winner will probably have a date with Triple G early next year, which will also be worth paying for.

Molina looked like a tomato can but he sure had a heck of a lot of heart. Wilder has something that can't be taught and that's size and athleticism but he has a long way to go before he can beat Klitschko. He also has a bad hand but i like his potenetial.

Wilder is a work in progress. He's 34 and 0 with 33 KOs and last night he was coming off of a huge win over a top level heavyweight in Bermaine Stiverne. I expected wilder to take him out in about 2 rounds but I think deontay was a little distracted with the crowed and being in his hometown defending his title for the first time.
