Here is Charlie Creme’s Bracketology updated. He dropped us to a 7 seed playing in South Bend. Not sure whether this takes last nights game into account. My guess is it doesn’t since Oregon is still a 1 seed here even after the loss to Oregon State last night.

Number of votes lost is large in both polls, but the Scarlet Knights are in a position to quickly return to the top 25.

Finally, possibly my final push-back this season to those who continue to bash the coaching ability of CVS is to leave some numbers that I encourage the bashers to verify for themselves.

So, RU went from unranked to peak rankings 14/18 then down after losses, none of which was to a current quadrant 3 or quadrant 4 team (Minnesota and OSU in quadrant 2--could change). Non-conference RPI/SOS 53/85 (no quadrant 3 or 4 loss), B1G (to date) 25/28. Team went from ELO rating of 269 to 53 and RPI of 42 to 19. Yet the head coach has done a bad job of coaching this season? RU has 10 conference wins in the bag. Who predicted more than 10 conference wins at the start of the season? A couple of weeks remain before tournament; let´s see how things turn out, shall we?
