I think about it like this. If people who would be using their other drugs (for cancer, diabities, and other medical conditions) are being killed off like crazy by Corona or not being diagnosed as having these conditions because they are scared of getting Corona then those people aren't buying their regular medications because they are dead or undiagnosed. Thus, the company will see declining sales of their existing products.

Almost daily now we’ve been reading about how daily deaths from COVID-19 have reached record highs. It’s a scary prospect. But the truth is the mainstream press is grossly misleading the public by misreporting the death counts.

The last story is particularly illuminating because the website the PBS article links to includes a chart of daily deaths in the state. It lists only six deaths on July 19. What’s more, the chart shows that there have only been two days where deaths exceeded 65.

So where did that scary 147 number come from? The same place all the other “surging” numbers come from. Each day Arizona and other states file reports on how many people died from COVID-19. It’s not a measure of how many died that day. In most cases, the people died days or even weeks earlier.

In fact, in Arizona’s case, 106 of the reported deaths on Saturday resulted from a periodic review of death certificates.

I had to go back and look, and this article falls into the same trap that Horowitz fell into a month and a half ago.

Not realizing there is a lag in data reporting.

Including a link to the same AZ dashboard Horowitz linked to no less. Although similar lags can be seen on most dashboards, as a Covid death will not be officially reported as such immediately. Hospitals may report probable death is a covid death(and that is what PBS was alluding to) but will take a bit longer to ensure a death is a covid death before they make it official.

Bottom line. Deaths have increased dramatically in AZ over the last month.

You were not right. The money people were talking about 3 weeks ago was money to help them develop a vaccine, that money came with no contingency of an actual product. This deal is a sale, contingent upon an actual product.
