He got a raw deal at Rutgers. He enrolled early even though the coaches had to know he wasn’t ready physically and basketball wise to play right away. He was forced into starting his freshman year and didn’t have a chance to develop. He had physical injuries during his career and when he was ready to play he didn’t fit into the rotation. He never complained. He was always cheering his teammates on. He deserves a fresh start somewhere.

How is being forced to start as a freshman on a big ten team a raw deal? That's basically any top recruits dream. If you can't grab your opportunity by the horns when it presents itself, then tough.

Rutgers obviously needs a backup player for the center position who has some scoring potential.

I do not think he had a raw deal. He was better off reclassifying and entering Rutgers when he did rather than playing a year of HS ball. By all accounts he was a good teammate but he would have had more playing time if he earned it.
Congrats to him on his degree. I am hoping he ends up at Fairfield under Jay Young.
