improving....certainlyHis improving defense is one of the contributing factors for the argument to start him
Is taking a change still a thing with this team ?improving....certainly
good...no
he is still afraid of contact. he almost hurt the nebraska player when instead of taking the charge he started getting out of the way
Improving recently, but the last game he might have actually been good. He certainly had many good defensive possessions for sureimproving....certainly

I've been saying this since the moment Mag went down last year! Also keep in mind Hyatt has never seemed to play well as a starter for whatever reason
FIFY!I would probably start Hyatt and Gavin, and leave Simpson in Piscataway

Had 14pts and looks much more comfortable out there. I would have him come off the bench still but have him play significant minutes. How did Gavin look tonight? Was traveling and couldn’t catch the game
Pretty good. 14 pts 4-9 from 3 in early foul trouble. How did Gavin look tonight? Was traveling and couldn’t catch the game
40% from the floor 40% from 3 for 14 points. How did Gavin look tonight? Was traveling and couldn’t catch the game
Better than everyone else. Much better than Hyatt... againHow did Gavin look tonight? Was traveling and couldn’t catch the game
Going into the season hearing Hyatt was our go to scorer should have worried everyone tbhBetter than everyone else. Much better than Hyatt... again
And I actually like Hyatt as like a 3/4 option guy, but he is in no way a 1/2 guy.Going into the season hearing Hyatt was our go to scorer should have worried everyone tbh
The most important stat - 24 minutes.40% from the floor 40% from 3 for 14 points.
Completely agree...he needs to come off the bench for us this year though. next year i would start himYou have to be blind not to see his potential. 6 months in the weight room and working on his game...He will be a legit option next year.
A lot of it in foul trouble too. Had to feel good to him that Pike left him out there. The most important stat - 24 minutes.
It's not just that. He's confident. He grabs rebounds. His D has come along leaps and bounds the last few weeks. He had a beautiful assist down low to Cliff.40% from the floor 40% from 3 for 14 points.
Going into the season hearing Hyatt was our go to scorer should have worried everyone tbh
I was worried . . .Going into the season hearing Hyatt was our go to scorer should have worried everyone tbh
Hyatt has had a rough finish to close out the seasonHyatt buried himself based on Neb
To be fair Hyatt was better early in the season but it's back to back years he's gotten worse down the stretchAt the time I said that last season ended with everyone wanting Hyatt gone and he lost minutes for Oskar.
Then he hit a couple 3s overseas against a couple Div 3 teams and people were proclaiming a 5th year breakout season.
It never really made sense.
That’s what makes a great player great. The ability to consistently do it night in and night out regardless of the level of competition. To be fair Hyatt was better early in the season but it's back to back years he's gotten worse down the stretch
and now I think he is over Hyatt on the depth chart. His D was bad last night, but he is giving effort.I know I was ridiculed for using the stats from the “last 4 games” as my reasoning why Gavin should start.
Tonight I will be upping this to the last FIVE games played. Hopefully this quiets the haters.
Gavin: 9-22 3pt (41%), 21 rebounds, 7 assists, 5 blocks, 2 steals, 1 TO, 37 points (103 min)
Hyatt: 3-17 3pt (18%), 16 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 blocks, 6 steals, 7 TO, 36 points (114 min)
