Ream playing in the group stage isn’t a bad sign when two of the teams in the group play the style he has a ton of experience defending against. The bad sign sign is that we have no one to replace him with in games where his lack of speed is a liability.its actually a really bad sign that Ream is head and shoulders above any other CB we have. he was supposed to be out of the picture entirely. but yes, he has been playing well. his ability to distribute the ball has been quite good.

My first reaction was that he impacted his groin into the keeper’s knee with a lot of force, which explained the obvious pain.Who knows what organ could be impacted if you get a hammer to the abdomen?
He plays well for Fulham, but he hasn’t been considered for a USMNT spot for a while because his lack of speed means he struggles against a lot of other styles of play.Tim Ream is the captain of a Premiership team.
So as not to interfere with the Rutgers-Indiana game.IYes Saturday at 9am
Duct tape....anything & everything can be fixed with some duct tapeThat would suck. Stitch that shit up, rub some dirt in it and get him back out there.
Yeah, it fully looked like he got one right in the jewels, I recognize that hesitant, post-contact granny limp/walk anywhere. My first reaction was that he impacted his groin into the keeper’s knee with a lot of force, which explained the obvious pain.
Thanks for posting that MadRU, first time I've heard Andres' goal call at this World Cup. Sweet!!
I have to start watching Telemundo, for the US games at least. The Fox announcers talk about 3 times as much as they should, and Holden talks so positively about every US player that he misses the whole discussion of who is actually effective in the game.
That's part of why I like both Alexi and Dempsey (who I've warmed up to) - they have no issue calling out bad play and bad strategies. Wish Holden would do more of that.I have to start watching Telemundo, for the US games at least. Would be huge to have him back - let's hope it's not false bravado and that he'll be ok...
My God, you're insufferable. We get it. You don't like soccer. It's the worst. The entire world is wrong and you're right. Yet oddly, you continue to watch. Please stop commenting here. This boring game represents all that is bad about soccer. A superior team gets one goal and is content to sit on it and play not to lose. Incredibly boring second half.
Also, there was more diving in the game than in the Olympics. Soccer is for sissies.

Ream has been a very big surprise. Really thought he was out of the picture, but that's what happens when injuries happen. We lost at least 1 starter at CB (Miles Robinson), and at least another depth option (Chris Richards). Ream really has impressed me with his poise and passing. I think his established partnership with Anyone on the left is underrated, since they definitely are in tune with each other.its actually a really bad sign that Ream is head and shoulders above any other CB we have. he was supposed to be out of the picture entirely. but yes, he has been playing well. his ability to distribute the ball has been quite good.
I would have greatly preferred the Darke/Donovan crew announcing the game.
We have a legit chance. Not knowing anything about soccer except that the Europeans and South Americans are good, what are our realistic chances against the wooden shoes team??
If a hungry USA Team shows up and plays aggressively, we won’t be outclassed by the Dutch. Not knowing anything about soccer except that the Europeans and South Americans are good, what are our realistic chances against the wooden shoes team??
FiveThirtyEight.com, which I think is as good as this as anyone, has Netherlands as a 2 to 1 favorite. A win would be an upset but not a shocker. Not knowing anything about soccer except that the Europeans and South Americans are good, what are our realistic chances against the wooden shoes team??
If they have someone like schiano saying that , the injury would mean he’s out until the 2030 World CupPulisic day-to-day. But then, aren't we all.
It takes a few days to stop pissing blood when your groaners get buried.Pulisic day-to-day. But then, aren't we all.
It's "a lower body injury".If they have someone like schiano saying that , the injury would mean he’s out until the 2030 World Cup
