OT: 2022 World Cup Thread

Until we scored it was simple for us to play out of the back with very little Iranian pressure up top, but now they're committing more men into the attack, making it harder to play out of the back. There will be times where the right play will be not trying to play out of the back, which is inherently riskier than smashing it upfield.
 
Guess Reyna is on the shit list for sure.

Berhalter apparently wanted him to lie about his health/fitness.
 
This game has all of the marks of a football team dominating early, only getting FGs, and paying for it later.
 
Someone needs to explain to me why Shaq Moore was put in. Was bad against England and looking shaky again.

Don’t understand the philosophy of zero attack
I can understand it later in the game like now or near the end of regulation but imo we went into defend the lead mode too early. It might work but I didn’t like the strategy.

You can't give the other team too many chances to take shots. The more chances they get the more likely they are to score. I never understand it either.
