Oooops that’s right lol!Actually it became “See ya’ Germany,” to my disappointment lol.
they didn't use their one advantage over other teams during group play. they have a bunch of fwds who can just bully the crap out of anyone...and they didn't.Kinda sick watching Uruguan players chasing the refs into the tunnels. Suarez actually showed class for once just sitting and crying. Tough titty. They should have scored more goals.
None of that rah rah nationalist BS for him. He calls it like he sees it. Good on him.
some bad blood between the teams too. glorious. This Switzerland Serbia, match is insane
What an amazing goal by S Korea in stoppage time...as is they go through over Uruguay...
Not true. If you really believe that, show your work.Really? Happens multiple times per game, like clockwork. No surprise. It should be ridiculed but alas other players want to reserve their opportunity to partake.
The club teams are better because you basically have mostly starters from every country starting. I don't think they'd cruise through a WC but they'd be in the final 8 at minimum. Just like any sport anything can happen.Question for the soccer experts
How much better are the teams in the top European leagues versus the national teams.?
Like would arsenal or man city just cruise through the World Cup if they were playing in it.
Obviously national teams don't play together all year (limited practices ect...)
But like how much worse is quality of soccer in World Cup vs epl?

totally the right call. but also a smart tactic by cavani to try and draw the foul. just didn't pull it off.
didn't realize anyone other than Cavani and Suarez (who they kept showing for some reason) thought it was a foul...

I definitely remember that play, although it shouldn't really affect how people look at a play 12 years later..Because of this...

Zimmerman interesting but I think Fereira's chance overdue. Hope it works out.Zimmerman and Ferreira starting. He's just trying everyone up top. Reyna still nowhere to be found.
Berhalter, in an interview yesterday or the day before, said a bunch of teams had experienced flu-like symptoms since they’d arrived in Doha. Said the US team went through it just after arriving and it took a bit for everyone, especially some of the coaches, to get past it and back to breathing easily again. So word is that the Netherlands squad has been hit with a flu outbreak.
Sorry if this was already posted
Sargent hurt. Wright has been invisible. So it could be just next man up/can anybody play here? Coming in I thought Fereira would be the pick. We don't have great options up top but I want to be optimistic- he is young and works hard. I think he'll get a chance - he just needs to score it.Why Ferreira?
