As @Southern Gentleman stated, it looks like Texas has the Jimmies and Joes, especially on the lines
5 games so far, 5 pointless blowouts by the favorites. Looks like game #6 will be the same. Will we ever get a meaningful CFP game with this new format? Perhaps only the title game of Oregon and Georgia.

Trying to block a 350 LB DT with a TE. Don't they know that the Texas guys "are just different physically?"
That kind of misdirection is what ASU should do, screens and playaction also. Texas has been aggressive to the ball, try to make them pay for it somehow.

CS is physical but the rest of team eh. Also can’t make the simple plays or ones that are a little more difficult where there’s contact.
Arizona St's line is just getting run over by Texas' DL.
I think screens and misdirection could be helpful. Texas could be susceptible to over pursuit and you might have a chance to get some better yardage and chunks. Of course the guy dropped the ball when they tried it lol.

It could work but it's not like Texas is blitzing to get all this pressure. They are rushing 4 most of the time and still getting pressure.

Last night was not a trash game at all, but opinions vary, just like narratives do.
I didn’t think Boise PSU was a blowout, it was sort of a comfortable arms length victory. As of now this one feels similar.

"Not finishing drives" is a lot of times due to the team you're facing. Always harder in the red zone. ASU just isnt as good as Texas.

I do agree it’s partially due to the opponent but also they’re not making plays that are makeable and I don’t think that’s related to the opponent.
Sabans said it too, ASU has controlled the game but can’t finish off. Texas just making a few explosive plays and the PR is what makes it look worse than it is.

I didn’t mind the third down but didn’t like the 4th down call. Also why I was wondering if going tempo on 3rd might have helped CS run on Texas as opposed to them being ready for it.
