OT: NCAA College Football Conference Championship Games Thread 12/1-12/2 Fri-Sat

Another quick start for Texas and another slow one for Ok St but they both have shown a propensity to reverse that momentum as the game goes on so we’ll see. 7-0 Texas

I think that could’ve been another PI on Texas, although less egregious than the first one.

14-0 Texas….they jumped out to fast starts and healthy leads on Houston and KSU as well but they became tighter games as they went on. We’ll see if that happens here or if Texas blows them out.

That Texas DL Sweat is a massive human lol. He reminds of a more “athletic” version of Mount Cody on Alabama years ago.

Ok St finally answers after another semi questionable no call i on the previous play fade. Texas 14-7

Ok State finally gets a break from the refs on the missed late hit out of bounds.

They look like the keystone cops on D early on this game.

Our flight got delayed, and I will be on a plane for the B1G championship. Of course the flight has no TV. Is there an internet radio station (not Sirius/XM) that will be carrying the game?

Figured out a workaround- Varsity Network app has all the games.

Don’t know compass media but there was a link online that said TuneIn app has it to stream free. Might want to check that. Either school might have a radio broadcast that streams online as well.

From the article:

Iowa and Michigan have earned berths into the 13th Big Ten Football Championship Game presented by Discover at 8 p.m. (ET) Saturday at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, with the game televised live to a nationwide audience on FOX and broadcast on radio via Compass Media Networks. The Wolverines are returning to the Big Ten Football Championship Game for the third consecutive year, while Iowa will be making its third appearance in the title contest and first since 2021.

I have TuneIn, but don't pay for Premium, cause I'm a cheapass. Fell down multiple rabbit holes looking for the game. Varsity app has the Big 12 game, and they have the other games listed to, but not the MAC game. Since my guy Cole Snyder is not playing, IDGAS about the MAC. 😂

But I had to look, Miami of OH up 10-0 on Jason Candle, he may be burning out before his legend ever does.

Ok St INT turns into a Texas TD on the next drive 28-7. They’re going to crush them to put a stamp on it for the committee.

Is there any bigger "bring the entire team together" play than a TD to a OL/DL?
You'll never see a happier team.

As long as Texas doesn’t find some way to not win, the B1G bowl positioning below the top 4 slots could theoretically be almost set unless one of the bowls are looking for a specific matchup.

Between non-PI calls on Texas and non-holding calls on OSU these refs are having a rough day.

Oregon loses✅
FSU loses
Alabama loses
Texas Loses❌

Ohio state in at #4 ?

Georgia Ohio state
Michigan Washington

Boise UNLV tied at 7

Miami(OH) about to win 23-14 for MAC, less than minute left. Kicking and punting issues hurt Toledo in this game. They just had another block of a FG.

Toledo actually recovered the block and advanced it for first down possibly. Still a very long shot to win this game.

Miami(OH) INT in the endzone and it's over.

During the Toledo-Miami game, they showed a snapshot of the best 1-loss teams, their SOS, their best wins and losses, and Ohio State's was still better than Texas' or Alabama's.

I'm not saying that Texas can't make a case (because they won their conference champ against a shoddy Ok St) but it's not exactly clear cut.

Texas will be dangerous if they get in. Of course since I have two different tix from the preseason with good odds on them winning the championship, they won't get in. My other live ticket is fsu who is now on their 3rd string qb. Grimes jinx alive and well.
