Just news as part of news and notes of CFB.

CFP rankings out. Louisville 11, Oregon St 12, Mizzou 14, Kansas at 16 and Arizona at 21. Nice to see lower down the totem pole teams in there. In the future, teams like that can be in the hunt for playoff spots.

JMU also filed an appeal to qualify for a bowl even though they’re in that two year transition period. I think they’re trying to position for a potential NY6 bowl because they may be able to get to a “regular” bowl anyway if they’re aren’t enough teams.

The game that I'll have my eyeballs on (besides Rutgers of course) is Penn@Harvard. A Penn victory would have 4 teams tied going into the final week of Ivy League play. 5 in contention this week. At least one eliminated with Yale@Princeton Saturday. Harvard still has @Yale next weekend they can't clinch this weekend.

No MACtion fans?

Toledo seems to be poised to run away with the championship. They crushed EMU last night. Doug survived.

Anyone watching Virginia at Louisville? Virginia keeps turning the ball over. It's such a frustrating watch.

Brohm’s got a better defense there than he ever had at Purdue and the offense clicks too when healthy.

Louisville thanks you for the jinx. TD by walkon - grandson of Bob Griese!!!

And now a TD by Virginia on a pick 6. Tied!!!!!!!

You make a good point about remaining dispassionate. 2 TDs in 10 seconds by a 2-7 Virginia to tie game. Keep the faith, fans!

Waddya think @rurichdog ???????????

Personal foul.. 1st and goal uva. Flag picked up

Holding on KO after uva FG . uL would’ve had 1&10 from their 10 or less. Flag picked up

Iffy offensive facemask stalls uva drive

Celebration penalty on ul Kickoff at 25. Nope
Flag on uva on extra point. Normal kickoff

If you don’t think leagues protect teams fighting for
$5-8,000,000 bowl games you’re naive

4th down. Hands to face AND holding not called

Mark it down - Washington is going to be a great pro. I watch just about every UVA game and that guy has elite hands and gets open all the time.
