If Florida St. doesn't win their season is effectively over on Labor Day.

Looking back at the last 10 years, some 3 loss teams would’ve made it to the playoffs and this would be loss 2 for FSU. Both losses would be in conference though which makes that a harder hill to climb into the playoffs.

Also losing to BC wouldn’t speak well to the capability of the team they have this year.

Two things: Bobby Petrino looks like shit. Did that blonde coed on the back of his motorcycle dump him?

What is up with The Athletic and the NYTimes URL? I have an active paid subscription, but my browser keeps harassing me to log in and my credentials don't seem to work. It's annoying and probably the end of my subscription.

If BC comes into Doak as 17 point dogs and wins the game, I’ll be shocked

not sure if you know that the Times owns the Athletic
google found this:
>In 2022, The Athletic was acquired by The New York Times Company. The Athletic is available as a standalone subscription, or with an All Access or Home Delivery subscription from The New York Times.<
I think ( just a guess) the problem probably is the Times isn't recognizing your stand alone subscription to the Athletic since the Times dropped their sports coverage and made it part of the Athletic

Yea there must’ve been some changes on the back end to integrate it with nytimes so I had to log back in to my sub on the app and it works fine now.

Yes, I was aware of that

I don't use the app. I hate apps, except for the Get Off My Lawn App.

I'll be watching that UNC/Minny tilt but scared to put $$$ on it but thinking UNC wins comfortably. Have a damn wedding on saturday so will miss most of the day games. Happy we have 2 primetime games sun/mon for me to watch after work!

EDIT: Didn't realize this was an ESPN+ article....not too many hot seats in the P4. Aranda at Baylor, Pittman and Napier in the SEC.

Narduzzi and hyper tempo offense will be interesting to see how that goes through the season.

I took Rutgers on my local parlay card in the casino with +38.5 points.
Then did the unthinkable and also took Minnesota giving 1.5 points and Syracuse+ 17points.( hate them but I think with their new QB they will cover).

Was listening the College Football Enquirer pod and they said 4 schools didn't take transfers this offseason. Army, Navy, Air Force......Clemson....Dabo sticking to his guns lol.

NC State tied 7-7 with WCU
NDSU up 3-0 on Colorado

Colorado 41yd TD to Travis Hunter 7-3 ..6plays 75yds

WCU 12yd TD 14-7 WCU…6 plays 75yds

NDSU 10 plays 75yd TD drive…their qb looked pretty good on that drive. 10-7 NDSU

NCState WCU 14-14

Back and forth we go NDSU TD to go up 17-14..NDSU got away with a hold on their TD

Colorado stuffed on 4th and short on their side of the field

Colorado was able to stop them and possibly hold them to a FGA but a late hit on Shiloh Sanders keeps the drive alive

Colorado able to hold them out of the endzone…20-14 NDSU

Colorado chip shot FG before half, NDSU 20-17

Minnesota doinks short FG but gets a TO on the next play to get the ball back and then a defensive hold takes away the fumble recovery.

Minnesota gets an INT returned inside the 10 leads to a TD…7-7

Colorado TD to Travis Hunter m…5 plays 72 yds…you can see the speed of Colorado and they can be explosive but also exhibit some of the same problems of last year. 24-20 Colorado

NCST finally with a little breathing room up 31-21 on a strong TD run inside the 10

Minnesota TD run to take the lead 14-7

Max Johnson 4/10 for 28yds at half…certainly quite a ways from Drake Maye

NDSU TD run by Miller but missed the 2pt conversion….31-26 Colorado…they won’t go gentle in to that good night lol..2:19 left

UNC escapes 19-17…they make a long field goal 45+ with under 2 mins left….Minn misses a 47yd FG with under 10 secs left

Hunter is next level elite
They have 3 players on offense that are playmakers…Hunter, Horn and Sanders. They still have the issues of last year though, OL play still looked eh with regards to pass protection and running the ball.
