Does Rutgers get ranked if we beat Va Tech?
Illinois and Nebraska 24 and 22 play each other.
Crappy Michigan will lose to USC.
Do two of those fall out opening up a spot for RU?
Or does the ACC love fest continue and Syracuse gets ranked if they beat Stanford?

These were the others receiving votes outside the top 25 and we're not there so I'd say no to your first question.

I agree with this unless we somehow win easily with another 40+ scoring effort. That might get enough attention to slip into the rankings.

Getting waaaaay ahead of ourselves, and don't use this post against me should things go awry, but if RU beats V Tech and UW, it would be so Rutgersian for us to still be unranked at 4-0 and 2-0 in the B1G. One game at a time, but just laughing at the ACC bias in the polls.

I remember a Rutgers football weather delay with a strange twist.
I think it was the 2013 game. Was at a Springsteen concert at Giants stadium Sept 22, 2012. Rutgers was playing away at Arkansas. Concert was delayed for at least an hour due to threat of thunder. I was able to watch most of the game on my mobile device while we waited. Good times.

If everything falls right, we could be 4-0 after Washington and a 2-2 SEC team would still get in ahead of us.

I don’t see why not, if their fans are will to pay. I could see other schools following suit if it works well. Football has a massive surplus though, it might be used for other sports on top of football.
