Eh - let’s see where things stand in a few weeks. May need to revive the flavor of the minute coach tracker for a check in.
Unless Daniels cleans up his TOs, I don’t expect them to have a season like last year. I’m not sure if Grimes’ offense suits him as much as Kotelnicki’s.
A season like last year? To win 9 games they’d need to go 7-2 the rest of the way and win their bowl game. That would be some turn around.
I think 6-7 wins is likely the upper bound but I’m not sure they’ll even get that high if the TOs don’t get fixed.
It feels like it could be a down year.
They did look good last night but the week before they were in a back and forth game at Tulane. It took a questionable ref call at the need to seal it for them otherwise Tulane would’ve had a TD to tie or win.
But any team can have an unexpected challenging game against a team you think they shouldn’t. I think too much judgment can be put into those tyoes of games. Even UGA did against Mizzou in their championship season a couple years ago. So we’ll see how good KSU is as the season goes on. I do think they should contend for the B12 title, might even be a favorite if Cam Rising can’t stay healthy at Utah.

If Wisconsin looked better in the first two weeks I’d look forward to it more. I think Alabama should handle them eventually as the game goes on….kind of like Texas did to Michigan eventually or Alabama did to USF finally after 3.5 qtrs.
I hope it’s a close fun one though.
I think the Pacific NW rivalries might have potential, specifically the Apple Cup. Too bad that’s only on Peacock.
The way ND played last week, who knows their game at Purdue could turn out close. Backyard brawl between WVU and Pitt is there too.
For the most part, nothing does stand out this week but when you have so many games you never know.
The VTech game (particularly the spread which is up to 3 scores now at 16.5) is intriguing just because they are our next match up.
Washington game is Friday evening.
Stay undefeated by beating VT and Washington. The Nebraska game could be one that gets a good spot if they take care of Illinois and Purdue.
Take with huge grain of salt but I like LSU. I was surprised by USCe performance last week against UK. I think LSU’s offense will present a bigger challenge.
It's ridiculous. There is no reason an Auburn game with a 27 point spread against a terrible NM team should’ve gotten the nod once they lost to Cal.
I still have to get used to the new ACC. I was thinking why is Cal coming east to FSU again after Auburn and then I realized oh yea it’s a conference game haha.
I’m not. I’m not sleeping on Vandy either being improved though. My point was there’s nothing high profile about Auburn right now relative to VTech. Auburn is playing a home game vs a random (and also very bad) G5 school. Meanwhile OD gave SC a run for their money and get a crack at a home game against an in state rival. I do not understand the selection by ESPN.

Terrible decision by GN to throw a pass while he was being sacked which leads to a pick 6. Luckily for LSU it was horse collar so it’s coming back.
