Hitters are not concerned with striking out. Instead, they are looking for one pitch to drive, and that's a shame. Guy don't shorten up their swing. What upsets me is the Mets continue to make pitchers with an ERA north of 4.50 look like Cy Young winners.
I'm following online and it keeps saying Nola is throwing a knuckle-curve. Since when? I've seen knuckle-curve, sinker, four-seam fb, changeup

Nola is the 5th pitcher entering the game with an ERA north of 4.50. Yet, each pitcher has gone on to pitch shutouts and give up only a few hits.

The guy has a history of wildness, so why help him? The guy threw every pitch in the dirt, and McCann swung over them every time.
I thought he wouldn't survive the Conforto activation. I KNOW he won't survive the Nimmo activation.
But then, a lot of the things I know just ain't so.

At end of 7th inning, did Rojas intentionally double switch Conforto so Lindor can be at 2nd? If so - brilliant move! Was trying to figure out why. At game - so I don’t have Gary Cohen explaining why.
I assume so. Gary made the same assumption. The Phils did the same thing in the top of the inning.
