OT: Official 2022 NY Yankees Season And Post Season Thread

That's basically the problem here. Yankees brass has an infatuation with stars and high priced talent. Meanwhile, every player they traded in the last year or 2 had/has the potential to do the same thing but were never given a chance in NY. And even if they did, they have a quick hook and are immediately demoted or benched in the place of people who don't deserve it.
The culture/mindset of the big club needs to change in order for them to get over the top and be successful. It's pretty clear that they need to clean house once this season is over, regardless of the results of this year.
They have Judge leading off the batting order,
I guess the computer was asked who should
lead off and it replied whoever gets on base
the most. The guy is ready to break the Yankee home run record the whole world is watching,
On the pregame show Judge looked down, which not Normal for him. he says his at bats
have changed the opposing teams approach
is to just not throw him anything hitable.
I see that he is really walking alot but the others especially Stanton just can't help.

called TV and I may have the record for watching YANKEE GAMES. I BELIEVE I started in 1950. before that radio which .my mom and I listened to.
This may be the low point.

No, No, This is not a triple A team, mostly,
but some are not, some are double A. And
some are offensively dead.

That said, send Guzman back to wherever the hell they found him.
Any team that pitches to Judge with the guys behind him is crazy.

With yesterday's lineup ..the Astros would walk Judge every at bat and the NYY wouldn't get a hit.
So 81-81 record.
Trying to reduce the number of RBI's Judge will get with his 60+ HR's this year so they have something to bargin with. lol

lowest averages, in front of him, now they add
Hicks whose average is around 200. How can this be, George would have never tolerated this.
