Going to be a tough resale if the following is required per RU site:
Important Ticket Information
  • All University Commencement attendees, regardless of age, must have a ticket.
  • Tickets will be bar-coded and will not be transferable.
  • Tickets are not replaceable if lost.
  • In order to enter the stadium, all ticket holders will be required to show photo identification.

makes me think we have some grads who can't read instructions.

Or they're selling them, getting the names of the buyers, and listing those names as their guests.

Or they're really dumb and are basically trying to scam people, not realizing the school will be able to trace back any tickets they confiscate from people trying to enter with an ID that doesn't match the name on the ticket.

I'm confused. From the link:

"But students will still be able to get some of their family and friends into the Audi Club. Those who previously purchased seats in the Audi Club can email the university to request passes for their guests to get into the premium seating in the club. The passes will be free because the section will not be serving food and drinks, as previously planned, the email said.

"They are still guaranteed 3 tickets in Audi Club," said E.J. Miranda, a Rutgers spokesman.

Graduates have until 11:59 p.m. today to apply through the Rutgers website for up to three new tickets for guests, the email said."

So basically they just get free tickets in the club instead of paying $40 each and getting food? Or these tickets are counting towards the original three ticket limit?

These folks should just be thankful POTUS is showing and appreciative that we are not going to be charging for parking.

From the article:

Many graduates have also complained that the three-ticket limit means they have had to ask some siblings and family members not to attend their commencement ceremony.

Yes, students are limited to the number of people they can invite to the ceremony where President Obama is speaking. Students receive no individual recognition at this event. They just sit on the field and listen to speeches.

But students can invite as many people as they like to their convocation ceremony, in which their names are called and they walk. Bill Moyers is speaking at the School of Arts & Sciences convocation.
