I think Gavin will be good as a catch and shoot guy with the right players but he’s nowhere near as good as I thought he might be or was billed.

He plays like he’s in high school. He hasn’t gotten even remotely better.

It's not even a right players thing.

Just run an offensive set for the guy off ball. Here's my play I just drew up:

JMike top of key with ball: dribble dribble dribble.
Cliff: Screen Gavin's man
Gavin: Accepts screen and goes to foul line extended
JMike: Passes ball to open Gavin
Gavin: Shoots and sinks 40% of time

Actually forget that, lets just have JMike dribble with 4 guys standing around.

Last game Jones robbed us blind and this game Baldwin is doing the same. We are horrible at protecting the ball. On top of poor foul shooting, inbounding, making layups, 3 point shooting, two point shooting. Other than that we are pretty good.

Sometimes I amuse myself by reading your game thread, assuming Rutgers is losing by twenty, and then check the score to see that it's still close.

In my opinion, Rutgers has talent. GG is going to be really good. Somebody said nothing positive is happening. I think his play is a positive, if nothing else. I think he should be playing more; it's a lost season anyway but it will help his development...
