RU opened it's wallet for Pikiell to hire a top shelf staff. Those guys bring relationships with them from their prior jobs. I'm sorry, but if we can't land guys who at the very least have a slew of A10 offers then we're just spending more money to stay in the crapper.

Do you follow Rutgers basketball? Pikiell is doing a great job.

Winning games is how he will be judged. To win games you need players. What big time players are gonna want to play at the Rac in its current form? No facilities= under the radar type of recruits for the foreseeable future. Take that to the bank. Shovels in the ground not blue prints and promises is what is needed.

If its not cheating, I'm pretty sure a few guys that learned from and recruitied under Jim Calhoun know how to be creative.

Just a guess but what Calhoun was allowed to get away with at UCONN and how Rutgers operates are vastly different.

Also there are things Calhoun did, that were allowed ato the time, are now prohibited by the NCAA.
