Lots of hate for the guy that is the winningest BIG QB in rutgers history . He got his 4th BIG win today to surpass nova and rescigno .
Some of you need to realize this . If guys like ray Lucas and Brantley are in our hall of fame , from way worse teams …vedral is gonna get in too. But he gets killed on this board . See link below .

Vedral is hampered by a surgically repaired throwing hand. His strengths are his knowlege of the offense and his ability to throw the ball away when the play isn't there. Interceptions are rare. He is super tough, takes a lot of hits. His weakness is his accuracy. Is he an elite QB that most B1G teams have? No. But he is setting a record of B1G wins, can't deny that. He will end up being a coach for RU.

No way

Kid played well enough to win today.
Greatness? Lets not get out over our skis here. Bar is pretty low right now.
All I ask of the QB is Don't kill us. Leave the cape in the locker room.
Today's game plan wins at least one of Nebraska or Iowa. Probably both.
Does this give us any chance against Michigan or Penn state?

Never had arm strength. Easy to see he’s throwing the few 25 yard sidelines passes as far as he can. And to throw that far he only drops back four yards.

What was impressive today was that on most plays IU safeties were lined up inside 10 yards from the LOS (NV weak arm) and we could still run well. It wasn’t even blocking. Brown ran like John Riggins.

Brown and the defense won the game. NV just didn’t screw it up.

He is NOT Great at all.

Right now Vedral or Simon any day.

GW looks to be a backup if he is recovered.

Hope we don't see Simon again this year. The interceptions are to frequent and too painful.

50% ? He’s not an FBS caliber QB. We won because Brown was a beast and D shut down IU after the first drive. NV didn’t lose the game, but he’s not top half. Not top 95 %

I'm sure he's a great kid but just using the eye test he's not even in the top 50% of QBs talent wise.
winning today was great, so I'll feel great about Noah being the QB today
As for his talent, as long as the wins come and he doesn't hinder it, for now Vedral has all the talent needed until someone knocks him off his throne and gives RU a better chance of victory as the starting QB.
In my opinion:
Noah is like a movie actor that plays a needed role, Slim Pickings, but today got the job done and played a role that suits his talent, because he really shouldn't be considered a star, just a good role player that helps get the job done.

Results by our standards he is . Most BIG wins in rutgers history . His career is more successful than ray Lucas , who is in our hall of fame

How did you account for technically Starting a game but really playing most of it vs. actually being the guy for the game?

However they were listed in the box score, the starter is always listed first. Someone can double check but I think I got them all right

Interesting. So in all these games where we've had 4 QBs in first 4 plays the guy who took the first snap no matter what gets credit for win or lose?
Some guys might have been hard to find until 2nd down.

Buzz Aldrin to Neil Armstrong.. "hey, gtf out of the way. I was supposed to be first!"

Probably not, but you gotta start somewhere. What's the saying? Every journey begins with a first step.
We didn't step on any rakes today. That's a start.
Gotta learn how to not beat yourself before you can think about beating the other guy on a regular basis.

Ok You can stop now. We see what you're doing.
But it’s a pretty important point and a bunch of people are obviously missing that point.

It’s not a perfect application of the aphorism, but better is the enemy of good enough. We all want better QB play. But trashing what we have in the forum, or worse, insisting on putting someone in who hasn’t demonstrated themselves to be better because what we have; that’s just plain dumb.

We have what we have and if we want any chance at winning close games, we need to play him. And we really haven’t had a whole lot of better since we’ve been in the Big Ten.

I think we're both on the same page.

This.
Someone boasting about a 4th victory after 17 conference starts has some real self esteem issues.

An emerging and healthy #27 + a defense, that is getting better and better + (#0, #2 or #3 at QB) = similar results yesterday

That’s what we have.
