We are demoralized and/or could care less

They've beaten Central Connecticut State (FCS), Fresno State, FIU, BC and UMass. Not exactly a murderers row!
And we beat BC, Wagner, Temple and Indiana, where is even a marginal win in that group, let alone a signature win? It is very sad and pathetic when two bottom feeders get in a pissing match as to which one has the more quality wins.

The Jonestown cultists were described as ultimate optimists too. Doesn't make you special if you're simply creating your own baseless narrative and, in actuality, just whistling past the graveyard.

We beat BC, Temple, and Indiana by a combined 11 pts. That is in the 3rd year of a rebuild, I am sorry, but if the coach's name was anything other than Schiano this board would be filled with posts questioning why Hobbs isn't doing something.

Sounds like you should become a Yukon fan then!

Maybe the real fans, not the sunshine patriots, should listen to Robert Saleh when it comes to the nattering nabobs of negativism. The time will come and it won't be today or tomorrow but soon.

Nope, I am a Rutgers fan. Sounds like you should try being less of a blind Schiano fan and maybe more a Rutgers University fan. No one man is bigger than Rutgers football, a concept that is unfortunately foreign to many on this board.

The original thrust of the thread was that our fans were demoralized heading into Saturday's game against MSU: one of your ilk was who brought up Yukon in comparison to us, along with linking it to Schiano.

LOL….last coach got 8 wins in 3.5 years. GS has 12 under 3 seasons. Most fans aren’t GS haters.

It’s sad that so call fans need to post this crap everyday.

Neither am I, but any coach in the third year of a rebuild and is 4-5, 1-5 in his conference and his four wins are against BC, Temple, Indiana, and Wagner who have a combined record of 9-27, with the wins against BC, Temple, and Indiana by a combined 11 points, would be on a very hot, hot seat.

Ok, tell me the combined records of the teams we lost to.

You do realize we lost to Iowa, Nebraska, and Minnesota with a very impressive combined record of 14-13. Again, there is no getting around the failure of Schiano to produce a quality product to date.

LOL …. Love how you left out the two undefeated teams. Can’t do the math?

>2021 Gator Bowl (December), scheduled as part of the 2021–22 college football bowl season between Wake Forest and Rutgers on December 31, 2021.<
Rutgers improved itself enough to qualify ( under special circumstances) for a bowl game last year ( Greg2's second season) and be in the running to qualify for a bowl invite this year after taking over a program that went 9-39 in the 4 previous years

Let me help you. It’s 32-13. We lost to one team with a losing record. Two losses to undefeated teams. Just stop.

uconn??? yes we 'd love to be them---are you drinking???

UConn could be 13-0 and be favored in the National Championship with Rutgers 0-12.
I'd still think we could beat them.
Same with Temple honestly.

I'm probably wrong but it's just how I would see it.

Yes, we lost to Michigan and Ohio State, and nobody would hold that against pretty much any coach in the country. Take those two games away and you have 4 wins against teams that are combined 9-27, and three losses to marginal B1G teams, a combined 14-13 record, two with losing records. Again, there is no spin you can apply to improve those numbers unless you are a blind Schiano supporter, this is a horrendous record for the third year of a rebuild, it is just not even arguable. Hopefully thru recruiting and coaching he can improve next year, and he will get a next year, so relax, your hero is not going anywhere, and eventually we will get a coach that will be held accountable.

We lost to Iowa who won the B1G West last year and Minnesota who went to a bowl finished with a 9-3 record. How many years have their HCs been there?

Rutgers football is an entertainment option that isn't very entertaining. They were entertaining in the first half of the Michigan game (and I was glued to the TV) ... halfway through the 3rd quarter they were painful to watch (and I turned the TV off).

If you want people to be enthusiastic and excited about the team, the team needs to entertain them ... it needs (a) win some games, and (b) have a chance to win some games against top tier opponents. Right now, it does very little of the first and none of the second.

Already anticipated your response. See my post about Iowa and Minnesota. Just shows you don’t know football.

That is about as lame as you can get, pointing to a bowl game we backed into with a losing record that we weren't even competitive in as some type of validation of the HC.

Yet, teams that have little (a) and (b) still get a ton of fans. See Nebraska

I've slowly learned not to pay attention to about a half dozen posters, or more, when they put up a thread. Everyone knows where it's going to go. I won't respond to them.
I learned.

Actually there's fewer and fewer ardent Schiano apologist posters remaining. More Rutgers fans are seeing the light after every game.

Exactly. Desperate to find some kind of validation.

I'd rather get cancer than see the team continue to lose. Some of you are pure stupid. I'd say retarded because it's warranted, but that's frowned upon now.

Keep knocking 'em out of the park, @Plum Street

Again, the same old tired arguments. Comparing GS to the worst performing coach in power 5 isn't just pitiful.
Thank you for acknowledging GS took over a team coached and recruited by the worst performing P5 coach.

Sure. Thanks for acknowledging Schiano is 1 win better a season than abject failure. Good thing they were quality wins.

Instead of starting their own threads listing all their data (cough cough) supporting GS as their savoir, Schiano cultists have resorted to playing games and antagonizing fans that have genuine arguments of his incompetence.
