Why Rutgers hasn't vastly improved in year 3 vs other 3rd year programs

Pales in comparison to the 900 pound gorilla in the room. Ash has failed to recruit a mediocre, let alone good QB. By far the most important position on the field and he's completely whiffed, so far (and hasn't used who he's had well). Inexcusable. As I just posted in the psyche thread I started, our best QB might just be Chatman. Go look at his tape again - love his touch and footspeed (even if he is small and doesn't have a cannon), plus he actually played well last year.

This is just dumb. Stop parroting others.

Navy won ten games that year, back when seasons were eleven games. They ended the year ranked and were just about the best team we played. Navy was our "Ohio State" that season and Schiano still put up a fight.

The rest of our OOC in 2004 was against the Big Ten, SEC and Kent State. And we swept them.

Finally, you OBVIOUSLY don't remember what happened, but maybe read up on the 2004 season a little to refresh your memory. What Schiano did bought himself a few years with most of us. Just a classy dude.
