Dear Mr Hobbs part deux. Seton Hall

Just picked up their 5th transfer. Includes a 6'4" F/Center. Also, Masonius from the shore, and 3 others. The Brenda must have had to make room for what's her name. Our former player. WTF is your hire doing?? Seton Hall to boot, in that little gym
Masonius has a .496 shooting percentage in nearly 700 career field goal attempts.

There are like 3 of them? Is she the youngest? One is in the WNBA also I think. To aggravated to look it up. The SHU thing really has me burning up. 1st time I went in the "gym" I said why would anybody come here. Something really smells fishy with COQUESE, and this program.

Fun fact I learned from Hope’s recruitment—there’s ten of them! Faith has been the most successful, though. Rutgers was never in play for her, I wouldn’t spend any time getting down over it. Certainly not jealous of any of the other four coming into SHU, either. La Salle guard *might* turn out interesting for them, but not a position of need for us anyway.

Yes. Spring Lake kid. Seemed to have no interest in Rutgers. Family had relationship with Seton Hall coach. Seems she will not play in WNBA and wants to round out her last year getting coaching exposure with goal to become a coach in college.

"Masonius has always had a good relationship with Seton Hall as Bozzella recruited Masonius out of high school and her mom coached side by side Bozzella at Iona University. He was the first coach that she had spoken to after entering the transfer portal which got Masonius extra excited for her next steps and opportunities.

Masonius also had a large appeal for by how many of the coaching staff have been former players of Bozella. "

One thing- the schlep up to South Orange is not easy from Spring Lake. Rutgers is much closer. But she said she was looking forward to being coached by a male coach for her final year.

What exactly is the point here? That Seton Hall has 5 transfers? Yes, they do. Rutgers had two transfers, 1 Five Star and 1 Four Star freshmen recruits.

Are you mad that Rutgers did not get a 6th year player in Faith Masonius that averaged 6 ppg and shot 26% on Three's over 5 years ?

Are you mad that Rutgers did not get this 6'4 F/C transfer who averaged 4 ppg at Virginia over 4 years and 2.1 ppg last year?

So again, what's your point? Have you evaluated all the new enrollees for both programs and concluded that the Seton Hall new players are better?

I think the original poster was expecting more players from the portal to fill out the roster. As it stands now, we have 11 players (one of those is a walk on who was given a scholarship) on the roster for next season. We all would have liked to see at least two more players added. Possibly another point/ combo guard or 3 point specialist and another post player.
Hopefully, we aren’t done but I think the staff is being smart and really vetting the players they bring in for official visits. It looks like they want players that are not only Good but players that will fit the culture that they are trying to establish.
I know we have someone on the inside now. Can you give us any insight on what’s going on with the transfer portal? Is the coaching staff done recruiting for next years team?

It's just a dumb thread. A message to Mr. Hobbs, 😂. Triggered by the 2 ppg SH transfer, lol.
