Great performance by our OL commit. He went up against high 3-star and Florida State DE commit Keir Thomas, as well as Eric Mitchell, a Florida Gator commit.

He pretty much shut them down. He passed his first big test with flying colors and will be a 3 star before long.

I could see whiffing on a kid from podunktown USA...but he plays for Dematha!!

he looked pretty good for sure. Still needs to play a little lower but that is something that gets corrected with good coaching and better core strength. And don't forget, the first few weeks of the season are hot and toughest on the linemen.
He also has a good motor as he was working his way up to the 2nd level for blocks.

Yet people continue to have panic attacks over the star rankings. It's become pretty clear that this staff isn't offering prospects that can't play at this level. They are just flying under the radar ..which happens when there are thousands of HS football prospects. So instead of taking the rankings compiled by the services as gospel...why can't people wait to see how things look on the field?

Also check out Hewitt...absolute monster game with 4 sacks and 10 tackles.

Or continuing the theme, how about Eric Margolis, who even the moderators were scratching their heads over, who is now second team LB as a redshirt Freshman.

Does anyone have a link for the either the Elijah Johnson game or the Hewitt game?

Or did you guys all watch it live on TV?

Yes, we all saw it live.

It was easy to tell he was much better than is 2 star (and low 2 star to boot) ranking. He has 9 power 5 offers.
