No. 21 Rutgers Wrestling Opens 2022-23 Dual Season with Clarion at College Ave. Gym, road Saturday to face Sacred Heart and No. 6 Arizona State

Peterson continues to impress. Looking for bonus points at the end. He was looking to get him to his back instead of just getting the takedown which he could easily have had.

Heilmann did just about everything he could to score points. But when the kid doesn't want to move it's tough.

We look good on top so far which is a trend that started when Ashnault came back. Issue has always been on bottom which we won’t see much until ASU

Peterson was one of the best NJ wrestlers I’ve seen in the last 5 years.

He’s gonna be a stud for us…

Not Alvarez’s best match but I think the score was a little closer than the match indicated and matches like that are why some people want to get rid of the escape point after a takedown. Alvarez had 2 takedowns to none and was a late takedown away from being tied

I’d be ok with recruiting every South Plainfield wrestler every year

Thanks for the updates guys! I’m visiting my son in college and this and Twitter are my go-tos for following along.

Clarks top game is very underrated. He’s not going to score a lot of points but he’s pretty suffocating.

I can't believe I just saw O'Neil shoot and continue on to the takedown. He always gets in deep and just stops.

I guess everyone wasn't kidding when they said 165 is a crutch for us. No sense of aggression. Can't understand this kid. Has all the tools to be great.

Yup, that look he has on his face when in referees' positions says it all. O'Neill is just going through the motions.
