But the NCAA came down hard on those poor bastards at Charleston Southern for spending left over money at the book store for other stuff. WTF. How much more can North Carolina get away with before they drop the hammer on them? This has gotten so out of control. There is no way these smaller schools are going to stay under this umbrella called the NCAA. It is so slanted towards the money making schools, and the 2 sets of rules must drive them crazy.

Sexual assault is best left to the criminal justice system, not the NCAA. And Charleston Southern self-reported, as it should have done.

And if you think it's the smaller schools dying to get out of the NCAA, you really haven't been paying attention.

A UNC spokesman said that starting Guard and a former Rutgers recruit from NJ was not at practice on Tuesday... it may be related.

I would hate to be at UNC when ESPN and Jay Bilas come down really hard on them for this like they did to Rutgers...what?...they won't say anything because its a ESPN-backed school and a blue-blood program?...but what kind of reporting is that?...ESPN has always been a beacon for journalism?...what?

How the hell has the DA's office not "completed their investigation" since February?

Easy: DA is UNC grad x 2. Undergraduate and law degrees. Woodall is also the DA that refused to charge the two AFAM staffers in exchange for their co-operation with the Wainstein "review." How this was "OK," I still don't get, as the Wainstein Review was a privately funded, internal UNC review, and yet the AFAM staffers were public/state employees. But that's "The Carolina Way...."

I noticed that there is only 1 New Jersey player on the depth chart, Tommy Hatton, RS FR, on the NC football team. There are 4 other NJ players sitting on the bench and quite a few of them were 4 stars recruits not including WEBB who left the program several years ago. NJ players haven't been very successful at NC. NC hasn't recruited NJ much recently.

Dejuan Drennon DE
John Ferranto, OL
Brad Henson, OL
Dan Mestromatteo, TE

WEBB DT

Although not a Jersey kid, a recent RU-decommit, Patrice Rene, is a starting Tar Heel DB, as a freshman.
