Let's not lose sight of how much season is left. A lot. 47 games to be exact. That's FOUR college football seasons! No must games, or even must series, yet. Split the next six, then take two of three in KC, and we're well positioned for the final stretch in which 26 of 38 are at home.

My only reservation about what you say is that home field advantage is usually not a big deal in MlB, where the home team has only about a 52-48% advantage.

Imagine being DeGrom who had a HOF type season for a bad team last year.

Signs his contract, committing himself to this team.

And at the all star break we look once again like a bad team.

Now 3 weeks later he is looking at a huge game tomorrow night.

Not for nothing, but Im wanting/expecting a dominant performance tomorrow night. (he is pitching tomorrow night right? lol)

Mickey saying something to the extent that we don’t win this game except for the fans. Been saying that for years at RU. I remember the electricity vs Louisville in 2006.

Of course the players still have to make the throws, tackles, runs, catches etc etc. The coach still needs to gameplan. With all of that said players want to play in front of an atmosphere like last night.

Less then 3 weeks before the season begins. For those of us with a strong enough stomach and are planning to be there, let Mickey’s words be proof that it is so important for us to be loud

2006, my older sons Sophomore year at Rutgers, and I'll never forget meeting him and his roommates at the 50 yard-line after that Louisville game, going nuts!! Probably the single most exciting sporting event I've ever been a part of live.

How time flies...my oldest was also in his soph year in 2006. And as many Knick playoffs, Yankee/Met WS, etc...never have I felt electticity and power in a stadium as we had that night. Funny, only game I remember ever being even close was a regular season Met game against the Cubs. Dwight Goodens 1 hitter in sept. I was mezzanine and felt like the stadium was coming down on every pitch

To all the new fans or the I was with them all the time guys we as fans are mostly prisoners of the moment . And the moment was really dark up until the all Star game. They lost 10 games plus because of the bullpen. Win those games and they are in first or at least right there with the Bravos.Maybe this is another Cespedes moment without Cespedes. ?We'll see.

When Herschiser was in the middle of his innings streak? Other than deGrom (maybe), I dont see an Orel in that rotation.
Over the last 30 days- the era of our 4 starters not counting Strouan
Matz: 3.38
Thor: 1.78
Wheeler: 1.33
deGrom: 1.09

This covers about 100 innings or so...just saying, if even close to keeping this going, there may have never been a hotter staff

I was just going to say extend Conforto. Can play on my team anytime.
Like Rosario, during this run, he looks like a star player. Both guys showing what all the scouting reports said was possible. But both guys also need to show they can play at this level more consistently.

Now Conforto has proven he is a solid player when not rolling (though he is still prone to long slumps) where as Rosario has not proven that yet.

Heck Noah and Wheeler can be included in this too.
