Camden is a great balance of old and new. Yankee Stadium is magic since it's just a modern version of the old stadium. However, Citizens, Citi, and all of the other me-too parks are just meh.
New Yankee stadium doesn't have a fraction of the atmosphere of the old stadium.

Love the new Yankee stadium. When you are watching the game, it is Yankee Stadium, pure and simple. That is by far the most important aspect of the ballpark. They preserved perfection and added a modern shell around it. Amazing place!

Citizens is awesome. And hate to admit Citi Field is terrific. Camden Yards is special but not nearly as good. You can't walk around and watch the game

As a Section 39 Bleacher Creature fan I do miss that part .

Yes they do, the vast majority of people sit and watch. Do you think there are 40,000 people walking around at the same time?
You haven't been to Camden Yards, Yankee Stadium, Citi Field or Citizens Bank have you? Of course not.

I haven't been to Citizens Bank yet, but the other 3 I have. I love Camden Yards, went to see Boston's Ortiz last game because one of my Little League coaches from years back had corporate tickets and I went. Nice stadium,no real tradition I feel from the past. Citi Stadium is awesome, starting from the minute you walk into the Jackie Robinson entrance. The Pepsi Porch, the Shea Bridge, being able to "walk around" and check out all the aspects of Citi and not miss a pitch is great.

That's two starters in the last 5 games to not make it out of the 1st inning. And the others aside from Wheeler's last start have been mediocre. Not a good trend.
I would remove the word "good" from your last sentence, and leave it as "Not a trend." Not yet, anyway.

Citi was very unimpressive to me. If you don't like CBP that's on you. That's a great place to watch a Baseball game.

At CBP just walk around the concourse and stand behind various sections for any view you want.
Unlike Citi and Yankee, you can hang out on the concourse and pick an empty seat in the 100s by the 3rd/4th inning, which was cool. Then again that may not be possible this season.

Citi and CBP are almost the same exact park so I don't know how you can you like one and feel the other is inferior. Citi is great to me and I hate the Phillies but I can admit CBP is also great.

He also got a weak arm it appears. Yesterday Ramos on second. Obviously he’s no speed demon. McNeil singles to right and they send Ramos home with no hesitation. Harper’s throw took four bounces to reach home. He missed the cut off man. I have not seen Harper enough defensively to gauge if this play is normal but last night he didn’t look like a $300 million player. Not 5 tool

Mike Trout he's not. But the Phillies needed a "franchise" (whatever that means) face to the team. At the point they changed from rebuilding to winning (last winter) they had two choices. Both very good - neither a generational talent like Trout. One wasn't interested in playing there and the other embraced them. The market determined the price at ~$300M - the Phil's paid it. You can only buy what's available.

I get the critics here saying he's overpaid and he might be now. But five years from now he likely won't be. Keep in mind that ~$300M ($330M?) is over 13 years.

Also the Phils and the fans knew what they were getting. A "franchise face" who can hit 40 HRs in that park and has a .400 OBP and can drive in and score 100 runs. He is what he is and the Phils and the fans are happy with the results. If he hits .250 I still think that's OK. As long as he shows effort he'll be fine in Philly.

Also keep in mind the Phils added Realmuto, Segura and McCutchen. Them's not scraps either.

Well don't feel too bad. The Phil's starters have been underperforming too. But yeah you guys have a better pitching pedigree right now too.

Yeah it will be less and less possible as the attendance goes up. I think the security folks were told to not be dicks when the place was empty the last couple of years. If they really start to sell tickets they'll have to crack down.

For me Citi seemed weird maybe it's because of where I was sitting - it was a couple of years ago - maybe I was prejudiced by the ride too?

So whats the Mets' excuse? If they could, they would have snipers shoot down all of the 500s trying to sneak into the 100s lol.

Hell, youre going to jail if you step on that white line on the 100s concourse at Yankee Stadium

TDA should have been long gone (with a list of others - Lagares, Vargas, etc.).

Had their chance. Would have liked if Dom Smith would have been held in reserve for a possible late game situation just as that one was. Could have hit him for Broxton and still had Lagares to take over In the OF.

It's not about Harper. I wouldn't care if he had been 10/11 and we had won the series.
For me, it's all about Harper and watching him do poorly. Hopefully, the Phillies fans will turn on him. Mets were 1 hit away from winning the series. Phillies are legit and have a strong chance to win the division.

They won the series, no one cares
