OT: College Football Playoffs First Round 12/20-12/21 Fri-Sat

They had 3 chances to prove they belong and lost all three. They only had to win one of them, they have no argument, neither does bitch boy Kiffin. They only play an 8 game conference schedule and want you to believe they'd have 8 teams who could win a Natty.
They should go with 8 team playoff and no automatic teams except BIG TEN and SEC champs. This year would be 3 SEC , ND, Boise State and 3 Big 10 teams.

I have no problem with the 12 team playoff. The first 2 games haven’t been competitive but first round playoff games in football at any level often have blowouts. I’m not for a smaller playoff, would eventually become the SEC/B1G Invitational Tournament.. The national playoff should be inclusive. Lets see how the whole tournament plays out before judgement. There can be some tweaks to the process regarding seeding in the future.
Not only let this year play out, you need to see how it is over a good handful of years.
I wouldn’t go for it there and I’ll assume Dabo will punt after the break. Too early and you don’t want to give Texas a leg up at home. Even converting doesn’t mean much at your own 35.
It's just proving what we all knew, from top to bottom, the ACC is just dogsh*t football.
It will really help if tonight’s game is competitive. I imagine the tv ratings for these games are going to be bad. There are some really good NFL games they are going against.
Regarding the griping going on (e.g. Lane Kiffin), it's important to note that these aren't the 12 BEST teams that were selected. These are the 12 teams that could be selected using conditions that all of the major players agreed-to. For example, Clemson would not be playing. And, as such, these are the match-ups we're left with. I don't see a problem with it. If you don't want to see blow-outs, etc., just don't watch opening weekend in the future.
Some of you are really showing you have no idea what you're talking about or even played anything even remotely competitively. there is a huge difference in the caliber of teams between 1 through 5 and 6 through 15. Act accordingly

I think I said before there are probably 6-7 teams they have a legitimate shot and it’s by ranking more than seed.
Oregon, OSU, Texas, UGA, ND, PSU, Tenn and that’s more than we’ve had in the past.
It doesn’t mean others couldn’t have gotten an upset or win here and there.
I love the home games. Watching SMU and Tennessee play in the cold is awesome. Football isn’t just a warm weather/Southern sport.
Also, never seen so many away fans at tue ‘shoe.

I think OSU was best under Day when they were throwing the ball around. They just about knocked out an awesome UGA team if not for a defensive lapse. They would’ve destroyed TCU that year instead of UGA.
Day changed their whole philosophy to be more bully ball and physical because of Michigan and I don’t know if that should be them or their persona under him.

You think that's impressive?! Just imagine if that was US playing OSU in the playoffs. The WHOLE STADIUM would be wearing red!!
