Unfortunately the most two most important games are on at the same time. Obviously Rutgers and the Penn State/Ohio State game. Looks like two TV's in the living room again this Saturday.

Are you intentionally ignoring the Tuesday and Wednesday games or just forgetting they are on?

Amazed that OSU & PSU is a noon game

They are lower profile games and Tues seems kind of close to the previous week’s games and sometimes I’m still throwing news/notes/stats etc…in those threads. So didn’t want to confuse things with multiple threads.

I’m not sure how many people are interested in those Tues/Weds games to talk about them. Sometimes even the Thurs/Fri games probably have low interest but it’s close enough to the coming Saturday games it’s not a big deal either way.

I assume there’s not much interest so just for clarity and distinction from week to week threads I leave them off and don’t put one up til Thursday.

You and anyone else can start one though for those games if they’re of interest to you.

edit: I saw a tweet a couple weeks back from when these Tues/Weds games started that there won’t be a day without football til sometime in late November.

Well noon is essentially Fox’s “primetime” game. Thats been their strategy since they entered the CFB fray and it’s worked. CFB junkies like me and even some pedestrians fans will watch a good game any time of day Saturday.

IDK-- Tuesday had undefeated Liberty, who struggled to beat a weak Middle Tennessee.
Then there was Rich Rod coached Jacksonville State vs. Western Ky was a good game.

Seems Jerry Kill's New Mexico State has a lot of Tues/Wed games. His team won again, and he has them at 5-3. Probably will go bowling again--will he get another tattoo?

Serious injury in the Marshall vs JMU game. He gave a thumbs up from the stretcher, but he was down a long time & had his jersey, helmet, & shoulder pads removed on the field.

Better than tourist hordes! Great place to be this time of year!
Yes, they finally do not have the road to Cathedral Rock trailhead blocked off (not that we ever go there-we have a bunch of connector trails from our home here and go in the back way). During the pandemic and post-pandemic, the more popular trails and rocks were like waiting for rides at Disney World.

It's hot here this week. High 80s. It will cool off early next week. Got to get up to West Fork and see the fall colors, something people who have never been here understand- there are deciduous trees here!!

Also have prescribed burn smoke hanging around here, cutting down on our views. Those darn foresters!! 😉 I fully understand all the benefits of prescribed burns, and I'm not complaining. I love the smell of smoke.

SMU might follow in the footsteps of Texas/OU and Oregon/Wash/USC/Utah with a potential conference championship on the way out the door.

Just heard on CGD Iowa’s leading receiver has 83yds and we’re 7 games into the season.

Shouldn’t be surprised though, last week I saw a stat that Mizzou’s punter had more passing a yards than Iowa did….39yds vs 37 or something like that lol.

Seemed to be a few Trojan ND bets. Saw a clip of a NFL player in the leprechaun gear after a lost bet too.

Looks like they were just trying to get closer FG range or possibly a closer 4th down on that run

PSU good on 40yd FG 3-3
