if the Lindor rumors come to fruition, figure either Smith or McNeil is gone. Regardless of the resolution of the DH question. So worried that the team is going to trade him if the DH isn't coninued.

Addition by subtraction IMO. Especially if no universal DH. $20+ million freed up from the budget. Yeah I know there is no budget yet. But there will be, and $20+ million has been freed up from it.Cano banned for 2021 season for PEDs

Where's the doom? Things keep getting betterDidn't I tell everybody that a Biden win would bring doom for the Mets?
Not rid of it. Still on the hook for 2022-23.absolutely fantastic news to get rid of this horrible contract.
Still great though. Not rid of it. Still on the hook for 2022-23.

Which is pretty impressive. In a bad way.Still great though.
Cano you idiot, thanks!!!!
Yeah...the Mets could finish last with or without Robbie. Many here (@yesrutgers01 ) were pumped when the Mets signed “crazy”Robbie. I was ripped relentlessly for saying it was one of the worst signings/trades in baseball history and clueless BVW was throwing a bone to a pet client and Seattle couldn’t believe somebody would take this disaster off their hands.
doubt I get an apology or thank you today.
Wait, what? Many here (@yesrutgers01 ) were pumped when the Mets signed “crazy”Robbie. Well cano being out helps allay that fear a little. So worried that the team is going to trade him if the DH isn't coninued.
Yankee habits die hard, so glad this happened. Maybe the Mets can get the rest of the contract void.Oh no....CANO.
Keep trying moron. It's your second on Cano, as if this is bad news for the Mets, lol. Yankee habits die hard.Yeah...the Mets could finish last with or without Robbie.
Kbee is a moron, the Cohen purchase has many Yankee fans crying in their Cocoa Puffs, lolWait, what?
You are absolutely correct. You don't get an apology or thank you. Many here (@yesrutgers01 ) were pumped when the Mets signed “crazy”Robbie. Actually great news for the Mets. Dont have to worry about this goof anymore.Keep trying moron. It's your second on Cano, as if this is bad news for the Mets, lol. Yankee habits die hard.
Or the Wilpons?
Hopefully theyll Cespedes his ass out of here.I would guess the Players Association will be all over this if the Mets try to void the remainder of his contract beyond this season. In the end the reach a negotiated settlement that will still cost a pretty penny, but less than the contract amount and Cano becomes a free agent.

Actually, I can't even just leaving it here...WTF are you even talking about?Wait, what?
Saying Cano was a terrible move is not exactly going on the ledge, I bet majority fans hate it like I did and do, one of the prospects we gave up is a player. Many here (@yesrutgers01 ) were pumped when the Mets signed “crazy”Robbie. As it should. The sanction for a second PED offense is clear - one year suspension, nothing more and nothing less. Based on what we know, the Mets would have no justification to void Cano's contract, and I do not expect them to try.I would guess the Players Association will be all over this if the Mets try to void the remainder of his contract beyond this season.
