I continue to believe that Cohen will not spend nearly as much this year as most Met fans expect. He just joined the country club and I believe he will be respectful to those who let him in. Remember that he made his fortune identifying and purchasing undervalued assets. Not by following the herd.
We’ll find out. I tend to think he could care less about other teams and owners and will spend what’s necessary to win knowing that it’s a down market this year.

My Original 3 Amigos, yes that was me giving them that name, has grown to at least 7, that visit the Mets thread which, sadly, sucks me into visiting the Yankee thread and posting way more than I should. Even more sad is the fact Yankee fans really think the national Pastime still thinks of them as the Brass Ring. when so many other franchises have past them by. I liked getting Diaz, not Cano. Trade was made and we have to deal with it. I will say that before we put Kelenic in the HOF, remember Shawn Abner, Alex Escobar, Fernando Martinez and Lastings Milliage to name a few hyped farm hands the Mets had that didn't develop.
