Are most people really home? I’m still working every day in construction, my wife works for the state and she’s still working. I only know two people who are not working over this. One at a hair salon one at a casino

Watching 30 for 30 episodes that I missed. Reading a biography on George Marshall.

Still have to work plenty remotely but spending time with my 14-month old son. He's already kicking a little ball and running around with a football.

Here are some great shows:

Westworld on HBO. The third season just started, but the first two are available on demand.
Homeland on Showtime. The final season just started.
The Sinner on USA Network. The third season is on USA Network and the first two are on Netflix.
Briarpatch on USA Network. This is the first season.

Numerous friends and family are home

Still have to go to work, but need to fill the void left by no sports. Just finished a book about a guy who lived as a hermit in Maine for more than 25 years and now, finally started Zap's book. I'm saving re-visiting The Wire for when times grow more desperate.

Re-watching Doomsday Preppers

this lady was way ahead of the curve!

If anyone hasn't watched them already, all seasons of Narcos and El Chapo are great. Brain Games is a fun one to watch with family.

Watched Hunters on Amazon along with Mrs Maisel, Narcos on Netflix is a great series. The new season of WestWorld looks awesome. I read Johnny Carson by his lawyer Henry (Bombastic) Bushkin. Great book for Carson fans!!

I just started binge watching The Walking Dead a few days ago... I'm doing it after work hours.

It's probably not the best thing to start watching during a global pandemic... but almost done season 2 and so far it's really good, and obviously crazy.

What did you think?

Heard good things.

It's good. I think it's definitely worth the time. It does take a few episodes to really get in gear, but by the time you hit the end of S2 you're ready for more.

The Things they Carried.

Book on the war in Vietnam. Still very early but it's a focus on stuff the soldiers carried with them, both literally and figuratively.

Loving it so far.

I know schoolteachers are home, but don’t know anyone else.

Still working, but without sports to watch(or play, with ski resorts and hockey rinks shut down) I do have more time on my hands.

Just finishing up 2nd season of Succession on HBO. Excellent show. Farce/comedy masked as corporate intrigue.

Binging through Superstore on Hulu. Showrunner is a former writer on Scrubs and The Office and like those shows, it's a workplace comedy with a vast array of regular and recurring characters.

Just finished the last season of Bojack Horseman on Netflix. One of my favorites of all time, but definitely an acquired taste as it's a cartoon with anthropomorphic animals. A deep character study of depression and addiction with lots of sight gags.

Some comedies I recommend during these end times:
-Schitt's Creek on Netflix (currently airing the last season on PopTV)
-Brooklyn Nine-Nine on Hulu (make sure you've seen Die Hard first)
-The Good Place on Netflix (just aired the finale recently)

A couple of one-season shows for those that avoid commitments:
-Season 1 of The Terror on Hulu (Based on the true story of the Royal Navy's doomed attempt to discover the Northwest Passage- with monsters!). Watch with subtitles to help with the heavy accents.
-The Boys on Amazon. Superhero parody where the heroes are corrupt

Most people I know are WFH. Except my wife and those in the healthcare. Seems like Murphy's WFH if you can doesn't apply to all state employees who are flagged as non-essential.

Great book. Just re-read Matterhorn, another great one about Vietnam.

not me... manufacturing of medical devices will continue until we're forced to stop. I can do ~50% remotely but I need to be on site for the rest. I spent a day and half at home with the kids this week and it was not easy...

I'm on 5 days home with wife and kids...for people that argue and fight on a minute by minute basis....not a fight or argument in sight. I'm waiting for the BOMB to drop it cannot be this blissful forever

Still at my office. We have a rather large office with only 3 people here typically, sometimes 4. All very spread out and in our own offices. So for example, closest person to me is maybe 25 feet away in his office.

So not ideal, but I used to feel like I had very little human interaction here. Now, if someone wants to talk to me, they just buzz me on my phone.

Reading John McPhee "The Patch" and Robert Crais "Voodoo River". Just finished "A Gentleman in Moscow" Amor Knowles, one of the best novels I've ever read.

Watching the new Babylon Berlin, Mrs Maisel, Ozark, Jack Ryan.
