Rojas is now the designated fall guy fair or not
I must be honest , I call him the puppet moron

Sandy doesn't have the balls, to tell the truth. Terry Collins told on Sandy a few years ago when he said the orders for the lineup and who plays that day come from the front office.Rojas is now the designated fall guy fair or not

Any reason why Rojas sat McNeil today? Or is it same reason he sat Dom Smith opening day? Stupidity
From what I have seen after first few games is a team that is very flawed. Bullpen is awful, back end of rotation is not good; team defense is bad; team still can’t hit in clutch that thousands remain stranded on base and a manager that should be coaching a softball team.
Not good. .500 may be a stretch for this team.
LOL. 3 games in, fans throwing in the towel.
Biden?Rojas is now the designated fall guy fair or not

Agree. as much as I hate to say it and Rojas can be the scapegoat, this team is not likely going anywhere. We are going to be sellers sooner than we think. We can get a huge haul for DeGrom, McNeil, Mcann. We probably can get something for Conforto, Diaz, Alonso, Dom Smith, etc. Rebuild around Lindor and in 3-4 years, we can be ready with a less flawed team.
I am glad you followed up your first post.lol Yep- 3 games in, let's clean house. And I bet a good handfull in here will completely agree....:)3 games into this season, but this has been the same story since 2016.
3 games out of 162 is to small a sample to jump to any conclusions.Honestly as a Phillies fan, when we’re showing we have some decent pitching, Alonzo, Conforto, etc. don’t worry me. I wasn’t even really worried about Lindor as he didn’t show me much. NYM will get their wins, but I wasn’t at all thinking they look like a playoff team.
You are right, but it's frustrating when you see the same mistakes and results. New day, same sh*t.I am glad you followed up your first post.lol Yep- 3 games in, let's clean house. And I bet a good handfull in here will completely agree....:)
The real issue for me has stayed the same- Manager moves. The Mets seem to want to overthink everything. Game 1- sit last year's Met's MVP. Game 2- pretty much start the right team and win. Game 3- let's sit one of the best pure hitters we have seen on this team in over a decade. Lose again. You are right, but it's frustrating when you see the same mistakes and results. New day, same sh*t.
So far everything looks like rinse & repeat:
Can't hit in the clutch with men in scoring position.
Can't finish the job for deGrom like scoring enough runs or blowing 31 leads for him since 2018.
Bullpen falters again even though there is a new set of characters.
Questionable moves by the manager.
But there's still hope... even if it's fading.
NOT THE SAME STORY. Maybe the same results this year, maybe not. We'll need to wait a few months on that one. But there are at least 341,000,000 reasons why it is not the same story, with more to come in the upcoming years.3 games into this season, but this has been the same story since 2016.
That's the Mets' brass over thinking as usual. I would not put Villar ahead of McNeil in the lineup.Lineup is what we would mostly want besides Davis injury. McNeil shouldn't be 7 though.
If it were anyone else besides Villar in front of McNeil, I would be a little upset. But to have someone with McNeil's bat control hitting behind Villar's speed, it makes sense.Lineup is what we would mostly want besides Davis injury. McNeil shouldn't be 7 though.
Trevor who?
Sidearmer we signed from the twins.Trevor who?
Move on from Dellin TooManyChances to a guy whose name is too close to Hindenberg. What could go wrong? Do we have any bullpen pitchers with names like "Winner?"
I looked him up, and I'm not impressed or hopeful, but hell, can he be worse than the guy he replaced?Sidearmer we signed from the twins.
That’s Sandy Alderson overthinking as usual. That's the Mets' brass over thinking as usual. I would not put Villar ahead of McNeil in the lineup.
Except McNeil is apparently coming to the plate with a cracked bat because he's not hitting sh_t.If it were anyone else besides Villar in front of McNeil, I would be a little upset. But to have someone with McNeil's bat control hitting behind Villar's speed, it makes sense.
The real focus should be on Conforto.Except McNeil is apparently coming to bat with a cracked bat because he's not hitting sh_t.
When you're 0 for the season some focus needs to be on you too. So far it's been a collective failure and he's certainly culpable. The real focus should be on Conforto.
