Stanton’s left the yard, but the doubles from Rizzo and Judge were friggin ropes as well.

At the end of his time with the Yankees he was so bad that Boone stopped using him.
If I remember correctly it was mostly control issues.
I was glad they got rid of him.
I texted a friend and half jokingly suggested that Toronto walk Stanton in the 7th... he has been money in the late innings recently. He probably added 3 to his WAR in the last week.
I still can't believe Stanton went down and got that ball. Can't even blame the pitcher.
"IF" he can stay on this hot streak Yankees have a chance in the playoffs. Have to say that he and Judge have stayed healthy for most of this season and they make a huge difference. 90 wins! Who would thunk that at the All Star... break? Still have issues, bullpen is still a weakness. Sanchez still a liability. But as many have said fun to watch lately.

I agree with everything you said except for the bullpen being a weakness. I think they're pitching pretty well, especially with the addition of Severino. I would say they are unproven in playoff situations and hopefully we'll get to see them give it a shot.
I'm more concerned about the lack of length coming out of the rotation and lack of clutch hitting from anyone not named Judge or Stanton.
Does Gallo have a hole in his bat? I've never seen someone miss fastball strikes as much as he does.
There is no way in hell he hit 38 HRs in 2021. I demand a recount as he is Charmin soft.
If the Yanks make the post-season, does Judge have a shot at AL MVP?
Probably not. It's most likely between Ohtani and Guerrero Jr, both of who could not playing in October.
5-1 on the road in gigantic games vs. Bosux and Blue Jays more than I expected.
Otani is a lock. Guy set all sorts of records for offense plus has over 150k as a pitcher. Not sure how you could pick anyone else
Why the hell pinch hit Sanchez for Higgy when a basehit ties the game? Shock of all shocks he Ks on three pitches.
I don’t get Abreu being brought into the game. You’re down by one with your best hitters coming up.
Tough, tough day for Yankees/Rutgers fans.
Could be another tough day tomorrow for Giants/Yanks fans if we go 0-2 again.
